Update - Melissa Berntsen (aka NicoOregon) has been charged with a bias crime for her behavior at Hillsboro Pride, as well as harassment and unlawful use of mace. We still encourage the victims to pursue civil action against her, if they have not already done so.

Pride events in Northern and Central Oregon should start preparing for targeted threats like this by forming safety teams complete with de-escalators, physical responders, medicals, and legal observers. AG's should also stack these events and be prepared to intervene on their own terms.

Tommy Allen's apartment is Section 8, rented through CCC. He is violatating his lease terms with his assaults & failure to disclose his true income. This subsized & waitlisted housing is for folks trying to get off the street, struggling w/ mental health, etc. Why is Tommy allowed to live there?
