Happy Anniversary, friend!! 🤗🎉

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Oh, sounds like a fun B’day plan! Esp for a Tuesday. 😜 If their stage show is anything like their NYE shows, the Andys are going to be a hoot. 😝

Happy Birthday! 🎉 Your friends certainly have an interesting sense of humor.

Thank you! 😊 Same here. It’s such a feel-good album. Roxette were a rare gem.

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

OMG 🥰🥺 How could anyone be mad with that look. Adorbs!

Love these selections! I distinctly remember buying Sonique’s album as a birthday present to myself. Such a superb record. And love the Janet and Madonna inclusions as well.

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

All those irregular shaped pieces would drive me nuts — but, I imagine, it could be challenging and fun at the same time. Look forward to seeing your progress!

Haha, I vaguely remember this episode. GG was definitely hip to what was happening culturally and socially during its run.

110

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

LOL 😂 It’s always about the story.

011

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Yes!! He — and several of the other dudes in the ensemble—have some interesting shirtless scenes 👀

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

A surprisingly good show! The feels of the cult-classic movie are all there, helped by the hit songs and amazing dances! 🤩🕺 Sure, it has some issues (weird pacing + some quirky dialogue) but overall, a good time was had! #DirtyDancingMusical #NationalTheatreDC 🎭 🎟️ #sraousTheater26

The Playbill program — with the stage in the background — of Dirty Dancing: The Musical. The national tour of the show is in Washington, DC, at the National Theatre through Oct. 4, 2026.

Oh gosh, I’d need to give it some thought — but it’d probably be all the divas (Mariah, Celine, Whitney, Madonna) with a few girl/boy bands thrown in. (Take That, Spice Girls, Boyzone) 😜

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I went for a run this morning too and it was so refreshing. Love seeing the Sat farmers market getting set up and all the doggies out on their morning… walks 😝

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

I love this mix of music!! You had (have) Taste with a capital T! 🥰The ND album is one of the first CDs I bought and I still really enjoy it (even with “her” on it) 😝

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

You’re both my (slightly) older bros. 🫡 💛

👏🏽👏🏽 … and I was particularly fond of the cute smirk at the end. 🥰

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Oh! That’s cool. So you’re Sept ‘81 and @mlavallee.bsky.social is Sept ‘80. 😊

110

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Eek, but I’m so shy! (Fortunately February is still a while away)

120

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Oh!! *sets reminder* 🤣 (We’re 1982 babies!)

110

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I totally hear you! We got lucky with our persons. 🥰 Mine is who got me into musicals and plays actually — he’s probably a bigger fan than me, lol. He used to participate in community theater, but has “retired” from it … and now goes on all the trips with me. Haha

110

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

LOL the sacrifices we make for our loved ones, right?! 🤣

110

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Oh man, you are an example to all of us! So selfless! 🥰

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

LOL, seriously!! But they have so much good stuff. Tho you’re smart for going on a Wednesday. I usually go on weekends (cos it’s so far for me) and it’s so crowded and chaotic.

110

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

It’s your birthday! But you’re giving away the presents?? 😝😍 Happy Birthday, friend!! Wishing you a fantastic year ahead!! 🎉🎉

❤️❤️ Costco!! 🩷🩷 Where dreams come true! And wallets run dry!!

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Omg friend, I wasn’t able to use Bluesky for quite a while too, and I was getting antsy 🤣 LoL Glad we are back!

110

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I do so primarily because (as you prob know/remember) most DC sidewalks are crappy and uneven + folks don’t know how to be considerate and walk to one side 🙄

001

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Ah, that’s from the debut album. It’s a great song! I’d forgotten that it was in GA. (Btw, are you into stage musicals, and Waitress? Is that the refrain from the show’s opener in your bio? 😝)

100

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

That’s great! Definitely sounds like a great appetizer option—and a healthy one at that. 🤗 Perhaps to make it a main, you could put it on toast of your favorite bread and sprinkle some balsamic for some tangy goodness.

120

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Oh, you’re back in town! And you came on a day with good weather (after a weekend of endless rain) so that’s good. 😊 Where did you wander around to?

110

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

OMG! They are annoying, indeed. 🤣 And when they started putting out multiple versions of the same song-dance vids, that was my cue to block them.

010

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Do you have a favorite album? 😊 My primary favorite is their second, self-titled record, followed by their debut.

100

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I love any salads with burrata! 😋 Roasted strawberries sounds super interesting as well. Hope you enjoy it—looking forward to hearing how it turned out.

110

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Scary and horror is NOT my thing, but I’m so intrigued by this production. Everyone I know who has seen it (including you) has had positive reactions to it. So I’m really excited for it.

120

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I was the same! Not a theater kid at all — in fact, I only began appreciating stage musicals (and plays) right before the pandemic, so I’m a super late-bloomer. As for The Fantasticks, I knew nothing about it, but the cast and creatives are amazing, and I love the queer take to this production.

010

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Thanks, my friend. 🤗 In hindsight, I might have gone a lil nuts with the plans, but YOLO right? 🤣🤣

110

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Thanks for the follow! 😊 I hope to catch Galileo in January. I think it’ll do well and stick around for a while, so hopefully you’ll be able to make it to NYC to catch it in 2027 as well!

010

@sraous @sraous.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

This was a really great read! Of the shows you noted, I’ve not seen Paranormal Activity and The Outsiders — yet, but will soon. Thanks for sharing your reviews.

Solidified plans to close out 2026 with a variety of #Broadway & touring productions! The plans in numbers: 6 musicals • 2 plays • 3 trips to New York City • 1 trip to Philadelphia • 2 shows at DC’s National Theatre. Should be a fun Q4! 🎭 🎟️ #sraousTheater26

The Philly LOVE is iconic! I think it would be so neat to have a LEGO re-creation as a centerpiece.

Two leaders from vastly different worlds together, illustrating possibility, hope, and joy. And so much to swoon over. 😍😍 One is the Netherlands’ youngest (38) & first gay and married leader; the other is New York City's youngest (34) & first Muslim mayor.

Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani. — The two leaders met while Jetten was attending the UN General Assembly in New York City.
Jetten, 38, is the Netherlands’ youngest and first gay and married leader.
Mamdani, 34, is New York City's youngest and first Muslim mayor.
