Finding out that people are still playing Grifball on Halo MCC has made my day just a little bit better ✨

Squodgephelp @squodgephelp.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

It was very nostalgic for me to use this in something again, and a nice reminder of how much better my skills have gotten in the 13 years (with like a 5-6 year gap) since. Anyway, go and watch the video: youtu.be/I3meRcdulLg

Fun fact about my Zelda Wells video! I wasn't planning on doing an 3D for the video. But then I remembered that when I started learning 3D around 13 years ago, I made a well that I was really proud of. Luckily the file was still on my PC, so I dug it out and polished it up a bit for this project.

I'll have to give it a watch. I can usually appreciate an ending that doesn't just go "we stopped the thing, everything can start to settle now." With things nearly wrapped up. Though it is a very difficult thing to get right.

Squodgephelp @squodgephelp.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

This is the first Zach Creggor movie I've seen. Though I've heard his other films also have controversial endings?

Real talk though, Resident Evil movie good. I liked the ending. I get why people don't, but I thought it was fitting.

Squodgephelp @squodgephelp.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

That Resident sure was Evil. I'm glad I wasn't caught in that Biohazard.

This is just horrible. Nobody affected by this deserves it. Only the people making the decision. When will all the money in the world be enough?

Doing the final Three Houses route before playing Fortune's Weave. For me this means playing through Black Eagles again, and it's kind of wild how Edelgard really doesn't hide anything at all.

I've almost finished my own watch through of the series (just started the final season of the 2016 revival). There are few duds early on but, like a lot of shows, it comes into its own as it goes on. But when it gets there, peak X-Files is peak TV.

Next video is done! It's one of my smaller scale videos, as I prep to release a much larger one afterwards. Not sure how long it will take to release, but the script for it is already finished, so the time between releases shouldn't be much longer than usual (if at all).

Hearing that we have a (supposedly) good Resident Evil movie feels wrong

A large factor as to why I go in front the camera in a lot of my videos, instead of just standard voice over, is so that I have an excuse to dress up nice. Like it's at least 75% of my reasoning.

I'm not sure that a single Kojima game has ever stayed within its budget tbh.

010

Squodgephelp @squodgephelp.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Physint supposedly going over budget (or at risk of going over budget) is one of the most predictable things imaginable given Kojima's track record. Given the current state of Playstation, I can't say I blame them for stopping. But it's just more self-inflicted bad press.

Also I still need to mod my New 3DS to do the Bank transfer, after my original one got robbed, but that can wait. Ideally until I have a separate 3DS because I like having a non-modded option if possible.

Squodgephelp @squodgephelp.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

(I will still have to replay the entire game again for a second if I want a full shiny-dex though)

Grabbing some of the Pre-Switch shinies before Pokémon Bank dies. This one only took like a few hundred resets, so off to a decent start 💖

So I just finished the Science Saru Ghost in The Shell adaptation, and I'm pretty mixed on it. Visually it's magnificent. But I felt like the show as a whole suffered from some major pacing issues that made it pretty difficult to keep up with at times, especially for the first half.

Like, jump scare aside, Ocarina of Time remake looks *fine?* but so many aspects are just sort of questionable. Only 1 item button, with the BotW scroll wheel selection is baffling. Link being so much more detailed than everyone else feels uncanny. But playing the Ocarina by humming irl is genius.
