I saw someone on Reddit say that you should delete localthumbcache every time you close the game, to make the game load faster, and this is something I see simmers say from time to time. This is not correct, it will have the opposite effect. Only delete it from time to time

Just saw a youtube comment asking why a symbol in the thumbnail was "the lgbt colours" (then they talked about predatory lgbt people, but that's beside the point)... Have they never seen a rainbow? 😂 Also, the colours were upside down compared to rainbows and the flag, it was just a colourful symbol

I haven't decided on a specific person who created the first servo, but the first ones were manufactured by Shiny Things Inc (I took this name directly from the servo description in The Sims 1), and they were created to serve sims.

On Saturday it will be 4 years since I started to post The Brights, so I want to do a story Q&A. It doesn't matter if you've read all of it, just one post, or anything in between. Ask me about the characters, the plot, the worldbuilding, or anything! I'll start to answer the questions tomorrow.

From Chapter 50: A Longer Night than Expected.

Beren and Melon are on the train home from Britechester early in the morning, after an accidental all-nighter where they watched a movie with Cameron, Beren fell asleep on Melon's shoulder, and when Beren woke up he got embarrassed about it. On the train, Melon asked Beren if he wanted them to move, so that he can sleep on the double seat. Beren holds his hands together, as if he's about to crack his knuckles, and looks at Melon with a sly smile, right before he put his head on Melon's shoulder to take a nap.

From Chapter 48: Housing.

Ahriman, Goldie, and Beatrice have a meeting in Beatrice and Morgan's dorm room. This was shortly after they became work colleagues at Jacques Villareal's company. Beatrice and Goldie are sitting on Beatrice's bed, and Ahriman is sitting cross-legged on the floor. Ahriman is in her female form. This was the first time Beatrice and Goldie got to see Ahriman in this form.

From Chapter 47: Dating Apps.

Andrew and Louise went on a hike in the forests between Nordhaven and Henford. Andrew had a bad day, which resulted in him getting so angry that he left without saying anything, when Louise went into the tent to go get something. Louise looks for Andrew for hours. In the picture she has just found Andrew, who's sitting on the ground, cross-legged, with his eyes closed, meditating. Louise looks at him with a mostly neutral, but slightly unamused, expression.

From Chapter 48: Housing.

Right after Eve broke up with Kodex. They're in Eve's house and Eve has just told Kodex that it's okay that they stay over night and they can sleep in the master bedroom if they want, while Eve can sleep on the sofa. They say goodnight to each other and Kodex walks up the stairs to the master bedroom.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get these stuff from the last three flea-markets to disappear? There's a buy option, but I get a routing error when I try it, so I can't buy them to then sell them. I want to attend the next flea-market but I don't want this mess in the way 😅

Why do forever muted words and tags expire and need to be renewed? I saw a post with a tag that I had muted and got confused because I was so sure that I had muted it. So I went to the moderation settings and it's there but it said "expired". I clicked on renew and the post disappeared from my feed

Today is 4 years since I started to post The Brights! 🎉 This year Eve broke up with Kodex, Ahriman started to feel almost fully integrated into this society, Beren and Melon became much closer, Andrew and Louise talked things out, Beren and Andrew started to date, and time travel was introduced!

From Chapter 48: Housing.

Beren and Kodex meet up at Foxbury Quad after Eve broke up with Kodex. Kodex cries and Beren strokes Kodex's arms to comfort them.

From Chapter 49: Climbing.

Ahriman climbs on a climbing wall with ease, at a gym in Newcrest.

From Chapter 51: Love Day.

Beren and Melon are in Magnolia Blossom Park to look at the magnolia and sakura trees. Pink flower petals fall from the trees and Melon looks mesmerised as they're walking around in the grove, viewing the trees. Beren is out of frame, but in the next screenshot in this scene he was looking at Melon and looked happy.

Ahriman: I wanted to create an Evil spellcaster and started off with the evil character trope, such as black hair, pale skin, and red eyes. I first created them as female and in the very beginning she looked like this, with backslick hair, completely black makeup, and that generic spellcaster dress.

1. I have always been a storyteller, I've been writing stories and comics since I was little. When I started this story, the most recent things I had written was one long story (I had planned for a book, didn't get there) and some fanfics, but my inspiration had been lacking for a while.

Lol I didn't know this building was just a bunch of toilets

The original state of Sprucewood Square, Conifer Station, Evergreen Harbor in TheSims4 Eco Lifestyle. This is a Community Space lot, so it can be changed through gameplay, but here, in its original state, it's a little brick wall building with six restrooms and trash everywhere.
