I successfully made some strontium aluminate as a control. From here i'll try different dopants to see what colours i can get. This here is doped with Europium (Eu2+) and Dysprodium (Dy3+). My plan is to eventually have an entire rainbow worth of colours

Of all the things Darwin was right about, perhaps the most surprising is his answer to the age-old question: where do chickens come from? This is not the "chicken & egg" question, but how did the chicken, a bird famous for flying as well as a brick, circle the globe?

A chicken floats in the ocean in what looks like a metal cooking pot. The bird seems unperturbed, accepting their fate. It's an orange-red chicken on a blue, flat ocean setting, with solid blue sky in the background.
