I’m so glad I’m doing this rewatch because I can tell you I didn’t understand that “it isn’t linear” thing when I was in my early twenties. I had already lost people at that age but I didn’t experience grief like I do now. And yeah. It’s not linear.

I have to say that the wormhole thing is boring to me. Bring me back to Julian doing everything he can to get me-tooed

When Sisko tells him he was at wolf 359 and PICARD JUST STRAIGHT UP IGNORES HIM? I could have punched him through a wall.

O’Brien moving that whole decrepit space can is so HBIC

Giraffe 🖖🏾 @spottedgiraffe.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Ok hot take : I always disliked Picard (because he’s a pontificating English ass telling everyone is French) so Sisko dragging him through that entire ready room was the highlight of my life.

Giraffe 🖖🏾 @spottedgiraffe.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

The wormhole is like plot 15 out of 76. I forgot it existed.

Aaaaaaand Dukat just showed up. Now it’s a party.

Giraffe 🖖🏾 @spottedgiraffe.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Oh I forgot they showed the whole worm transfer. This episode is insane. It’s SO MUCH INFO AT ONCE.

Never trust ale from a god-fearing people, or a Starfleet commander that has one of your relatives in jail.

Starting my DS9 rewatch for the review on Thursday and … I love how NOONE HAS ANY CHILL in that first episode.

Joking aside - as a kid, I used to go collect rats in traps around the city with my dad to have them tested for the plague. The plague is still around, we don’t get it because we have constant systems, public health, labs, and scientists in place keeping it at bay.

Eeeeee I don’t know how I feel about the finale of Lanterns…

Giraffe 🖖🏾 @spottedgiraffe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

And now that I finished Weapons - what… what were the motivations of any of those people? Like no backstory? No nothing? Just she’s a witch? 😆

380

Giraffe 🖖🏾 @spottedgiraffe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Agreed. 👍🏾 Windows Bay was solid because it really understood the genre

010

Giraffe 🖖🏾 @spottedgiraffe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I’m watching Weapons - I know, way after everyone - and… are we ever gonna do horror movies that don’t only relie on character acting stupid? I know it’s been proven over and over again that people mostly act stupid in front of danger (I too survived the pandemic) but … it’s boring in movies.

For people who watched Golden Axe (if you didn’t, watch it it’s great), should I do a Chronos or a Druda cosplay? Love both characters. Chronos : I can nail a panther makeup and so here for the nails. Druda : mask/helmet is usually not my style but she’s so fire? But he’s so diva? CHOICES!

Replied to you
Chronos just showed up
Yeah, something tells me you're gonna like him a lot.
I think I have to much meat on me to be a skeleton
