Played Onimusha: Way of the Sword. GAS. Capcom’s incredible year continues to steamroll ahead. So pleased I got a chance to play this. Makes me so happy to see a franchise from my childhood come back with such a big W Harsh but fair game. Big recommend if you like losing boss fights and locking in

Played Halo: Campaign evolved. Game looks gorgeous and has been brought into the current generation wonderfully. However, it’s just Halo. From being a kid when the first dropped, through re releases, it’s not like it making me see it in a new light. Experience was kinda okay (but polished!)

Witcher 2 was obscenely not for me. Tried The Witcher 3 three separate times and didn’t get more than 10 hours in. Have seen multiple folks say, if you don’t like The Witcher 3, the remaster doesn’t change that. But I liked the TV show, Cyberpunk, and Dawnwalker, so this time will be different.

Played Orbitals. What a lovely surprising game. The 80s anime style graphics were super charming. Some of the sound effects reminded me of the love I’ve got for old school Gundam. Co-Operative puzzles were more than just reaction and coordination tests and force you to THINK together. So so fun.

Played Marvel’s Wolverine. The negative attention out of this game is way out of proportion, disingenuous, and honestly in bad faith. Is it going to revolutionize video games? No. Was it a fun distraction with pretty weighty performances and a foundation to build on? YEAH. I loved my time with it

Played The Blood of Dawnwalker. WOW. Unbelievable game. Loved every moment. Combat system is very simple and there isn’t a ton of enemy variety, but yet, the focus on directional combat along with your abilities never had me bored. The story and approach to spending time paced it wonderfully. FIRE

Played Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Was a little put off by the lack of rats but, if you give it time, it’s very relevant to the overall lore. Switching to Sophia as a main character does a ton of world building and also shes just cool. Puzzles were pretty fun. Game atmospheric. I enjoyed.

Played Star Wars: Zero Company. Absolutely blown away. Not only an incredible as a Star Wars title, but one of the best tactics games I’ve played in eons. Extremely satisfying side stories for the side characters, addictive “just one more” game play, progression that forces decisions. BANGER.
