the trauma of growing up neurodivergent. The human figure is partially shadowed with one creature eye, a partial creature themself. They sit in a psychiatrists office with closed off posture as a human figure points to a clip board and talks to them.

Page 4: But it feels deeper than that. Like intrinsic estrangement. // An impossible divide between myself and what it's like to be human. The figure is now surrounded by other empty human figures, chatting. Even in a crowd the creature seems alone.

Page 5: A secret not meant for me everyone's privy to, that I'm left piecing together alone. Now the partial creature figure peers down at their hands sadly with other humans behind them. Their hands are now clawed and are taking on the same shadowy features of the creature.

The way our society is structured, there hasn’t been much effort (historically) to offer proactive help to young people who fit this. As we age, we blast through everything, until we hit something unexpected, and metaphorically bash down walls with our heads until we knock ourselves unconscious.

For me warm lighting makes me really tired and gives me a horrible headache (and in extreme cases like dim warm lighting, they even make me nauseous), so that's why I like my 100W (equivalent) 6500K lights
