LRP; my dumbass brain with my already established friends 🙃 Like brain, cut it tf out fr. Like I'm half a recluse b/c I do like my solitude/peace but also will balance it with my presence and appreciation of my friends as well. I'm an introvert but I do cherish friends tho.

“Be very angry about how the world is being fucked. How your craft is being pulled away from you, how people are trying to move you away from the arts…and tell you they're not important. Be angry that things are being controlled by socially barely functional people that have a lot of money. Be angry about something.” - Guillermo del Toro

This is your occasional reminder that generative "AI" in particular could have been developed on public domain materials and/or licensed and compensated works but the major players intentionally, methodically and systemically chose to steal labor from working creative folks instead

This is a valid thought because bots/Ai are everywhere and mfs be asking/answering security questions "for fun" every day lol Speaking for myself....I'm way too random (and I occasionally overshare) to be a bot.

I remember making my first cumulative $100 from doing cmms in the past, showed him and he lit up and cheered for me. One of the first few times I ever felt proud to create. 🩵 I still love to create in the present day.

My old Wacom bamboo drawing tablet I got in 2011 as a xmas gift from my late grandad. My sole father figure who believed in my ability to create and invested in it. When I draw, I dont just do it for me, I do it for him too.

Read. Even if it's minor stuff or reading articles about things I like (ex: nature, space, etc), I just read. I wanna keep my brain sharp and keep myself literate.

In my opinion, there is no one Black experience. I am Black because I am Black and my experience, no matter what it looks like, is a Black experience. It’s not my interests or taste in music or whatever that has to fit in a box in order to be considered Black. I sit at the table, accepted or not.

I still find it wild Baltimore Comic Con has been a thing for many many years and I never went to it when I used to live here. I went to Otakon several times when it was in the same convention center prior to going to DC in 2014. Ive been a con-goer since I was 16.
