It’s official Labour voters are more transphobic than the general population. But sure it’s just a few bad eggs at the top of the party and not part of their brand…
Graph showing that approximately 52% of Labour voters in Holborn and St Pancras didn’t/wouldn’t vote for the Green Party because of their position on on gender trans issues, compared to 43% of all respondents.

No evidence of harm or wrongdoing doesn’t exactly point to the review being done for clinical reasons does it? Instead it’s clear that it was motivated by a complaint from a right wing politician who doesn’t like trans people. By supporting it instead of challenging it, you’re no better.
Does this mean patients may have come to harm?
No immediate patient safety concerns have been identified by the NWJCC, and therefore they are not concluding that patients have come to harm.
However, concerns have been raised through complaints to the NWJCC, correspondence, and other information received about the gender affirming surgery pathway. As a precautionary measure, referrals, surgical assessments, and surgery are paused while further review work is undertaken.
These prompt actions have been taken to ensure any potential risks
are identified and addressed as quickly as possible, and that patients continue to receive safe and high-quality care.Have any patients undergone surgery inappropriately?
At this stage, the NWJCC has not identified any patients who have undergone surgery inappropriately.
However, there are cases where patients have been referred into the surgical pathway but have not gone on to have surgery, including where NHS England providers have identified that referral criteria had not been met. It is also recognised that concerns have been raised by some patients about the referral process.
The purpose of the current review is to better understand these concerns and
provide assurance that patients are being appropriately supported, assessed and referred, and that the necessary clinical governance arrangements are in place. What evidence is there that patients were referred inappropriately?
At this stage, it is not known if patients have been referred inappropriately. The purpose of the Independent Clinical Review is to assess this.

They welcomed and celebrated a bill (even in draft) that has this in it. Conversion therapy would include making someone believe they had a transgender identity. So a professional or parent who affirmed a trans person’s true self could potentially be accused of (and charged with) conversion abuse.
1 Meaning of "conversion practice" and related terms
(1) This section has effect for the purposes of this Act.
(2) "Conversion practice" means (subject to subsection (3)) any conduct carried out by a person towards an individual with the intention of -
(a) causing the individual-
(i) to have or not to have,
(ii) to believe that they have or do not have, a sexual orientation or a
particular sexual orientation; or
(b) causing the individual-

(ii) to believe that they have or do not have, a transgender identity or

(3) Conduct which-
(a) is carried out by a person towards an individual with such an intention, but
(b) is carried out in the course of providing health care services to the individual concerned,
is not a conversion practice unless the person acts in a way that falls far below the standards reasonably expected of a person in their position.
