Random sketch of the day 🤣 I want a Moogle Ignis now! #ffxv #noctis #ignis #ignoct #sketch

Sketch: Noctis holding a Moogle that looks like Ignis. It’s. A Moogle plush with a flame shaped hair puff and glasses. 🤓

Illustration: middle of image is Ignis with a uniform on holding his dagger, blood falls from it to the water below. There’s a bright doorway glow behind him and blue flowers above shedding their petals. On the right is Noctis with his arms crossed against his chest crying upset. On the left we see Ignis and Noctis kissing gently

I don't think we talk enough about the effect of art on us. I can see one drawing I really really like and I'll be happy for the rest of the day I'm not exaggerating. Your art makes someone feel that way. Your art makes someone happy. Your art helps someone get through the day.

Alas, I'm writing slower than ever so here's a wip snippet for this Ignoct week inspired by the Fairytale/Folklore prompt. It's providing me with some interesting research rabbit holes to follow 😄 @ignoct-events.bsky.social #fanfics

“Where should we take our walk this evening, Noct?” His answer came in the form of a soft huff and a gentle head bump against his thigh. Ignis chuckled. “Of course I had not forgotten. Lead on.”
The air had a bite to it tonight although not enough to make Ignis regret not bringing a coat and despite Noctis’ inclination to not take long walks, preferring to sprawl across the sofa at home instead, Ignis knew the distance to their destination would be sufficient to warm him. Noctis’ claws clicked on the pavement beside him – paws and footsteps creating the only notable sounds along the quiet residential streets. There wouldn’t be much activity around until the village hall emptied. With only a few nudges from Noctis to steer Ignis away from some cars half parked on the pavement they made their way towards Kingness’ churchyard and the patch of woodland that bordered it.
There were nearly to their destination when Noctis stopped to scratch at the churchyard’s wooden gate. Ignis reached over for the latch his fingers made clumsy with anticipation and something not helped by the pathetic whine from his side.
“I’m just as impatient as you are. Give me a moment.” The metal latch gave a satisfying clunk and the gate could swing open allowing Noctis to push his way through the widening gap first.

My first completed illustration of the year is a follow up to one of my most popular illustrations (linked below). This new one is titled "Fealty." 😁

We peer through ornate curtains at a king kneeling before a man in armor who stands before him. The king gazes up at the knight and is in the process of shrugging out of his ornate robes, which trail behind him. The knight cradles the king's face in one hand, and the king has a hand on the knight's armored leg.

Bluesky is a great site but you have to unlearn EVERYTHING Twitter has ever taught you to make it useable. Repost yourself. Interact with others. Use tags. Use feeds. Be kind and find kindness. Comment away. It's really really freeing.
