it is genuinely so fucking funny that every other playable character is varying shades of murderously insane and capricious while cai spends the entire game like this

so just as a recommendation for anyone playing Fortune's Weave it’s pretty clear that part 2 is intended to be played after doing all of the part 1s instead of just doing it right after finishing a single one, because it touches on a lot of plotlines I only vaguely caught wind of in theodora’s

As a kid, my fave side mission in Link’s Awakening was the ghost following you who wanted to see its old house, only to feel sad and ask to be taken to its grave. It’s so bittersweet! ❤️

Caught an error lol (he says “castle” but the text says palace, and everyone else in the scene correctly says palace)

Personally I'd rather people said "THEY HIRED THIS MAN" instead of saying "this looks AI-generated" in relation to a product that is made by a company that clearly still values its human talent.

Overall, I would've preferred something that makes it worth playing over the original other than the graphics. Like even if it were wind waker or twilight princess, I think I still wouldn't be that excited if there wasn't anything new added to the actual game itself

Also something that gets me is people complaining about the botw-style horizontal item quick menu being tedious but like, it barely registered as something that could be an issue to me because OoT only has like 15 items compared to botw and totk having dozens/hundreds

I do hate that everyone is like “wow the oot remake looks like genAI” like you can just say it looks bad without pissing and shitting on a bunch of actual devs and artists

not gonna say anyone is wrong for disliking the look of the OoT remake but imo calling it ai slop on reaction is probably not a fair criticism

new zelda looks pretty nice imo but we will have to wait and see how long it takes king zora to move before jumping to any conclusions, we can only hope the switch 2 is strong enough to handle making the cutscene longer

gameplay wise the little additions seem nice but, remaking a puzzle adventure game with the same exact puzzles and map really loses the appeal for people who have played through it enough to just know all the answers (me)

I was messing around in the flooded delfino plaza and I stumbled across this rocket nozzle box hidden inside of this building. I never knew about this? I looked into it and aparently it’s able to be reached by going OoB with a 2nd rocket nozzle, but I really want to try and get it during the flood
