and this isn't really specific to one person, I think I've been engaging in so much esoteric content, if any, over the past few months that I'm incapable of having conversations with people because I have no idea what they're talking about

Normally I'd be fine and even adapt to changes around me but it seems like a LOT has changed over the course of this year that made me more distant from internet friends.

Emotionally weird day yesterday that I need to take some time out to fully process. Definitely bad weird but not actively detrimental.

Looking up differences between versions of FF1 after-the-fact was probably the most interesting part of playing this game. Its use of an, at te time, modern magic system and an increased leveling curve makes it a much easier game than other versions. If I'm not too busy I'd probably try playing […]

I am warning all of my followers, mutual and otherwise, that you are not prepared for the next cover I'm going to drop. Whether it's good or not is up to opinion, but it is certainly ambitious.

I had to dip into my funds to get new contacts. My vision drastically degraded over the past 2 years but it's restored for bau- That puts us back to $500 away from the goal, so I'll be sharing these posts again. Apologies for the constant reposts. 🙏🏿

It's real easy to get that phasing effect you hear on old Namco Arcade machines (Libble Rabble, Metro Cross, and Mappy for example). Have two channels play the same melody with one slightly off pitch.

Related to this I was kind of thinking of starting a guessing game whenever I'm making a lot of progress on a cover, specifically. Present a snippet of a tracker view with several channels muted and people can guess what the cover is. Example:

Always keep an eye on family members if they have social media accounts. As a low stakes environment, they're more likely to be honest through the content they interact with, and you're gonna need all the info you can get for future risk assessments.

There should be no boss in a Kingdom Hearts game where the optimal strategy is zoning them out, especially in a KH game with Birth By Sleep's style of Command Deck because now I've gotta wait for my spells to recharge instead of, y'know, an Ether or something?

I'm definitely missing context on Rayman because I haven't played the first 3 games so this take is most likely uninformed, but I'll see how it shakes out once reviews for Retold start coming in.
