I actually thought my flame for jujutsu faded out but sitting in that arena and hearing VIVID VICE be performed live…hearing the orchestra play the anime soundtrack and the seiyuu live dubbing my fave characters…I got a little wobbly lol I’m happy I still love jujutsu and yuuji so much

Jさん( ֊’ ワ ‘֊)🌸 @soukatsu.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

there were also two different “original” juju folk tales (in lieu of juju sanpos) where the seiyuu acted out different fairy tales. day 1 was hansel and gretel (choso and yuuji) and day 2 was the giant turnip 😂 they were both so funny, I hope they get released on a disc or something later

Gojo surprised Yuuji by showing up in Yokohama (he said he went to find a famous dessert) and then shared the dessert with Yuuji before dropping a mission on him and trying to run away, but Yuuji grabbed onto him screaming SENSEEIII with a mouthful of dessert dhdjdj Youkyan was laughing so hard

late but I went to Juju Fest and had a very good time 🥹🙌 super happy I got to see so many of my fave seiyuu in person again. Youkyan and Enojun were having so much fun on stage. and they even did a cute audio skit with Gojo and Yuuji at the end of day 1 that made the whole arena freak out and laugh

also after 115 chapters, Hokazono-sensei’s improvement in the sheer range of facial expressions is really evident. there are a lot more subtleties and nuances (usually comedic ones) in chara faces now that really hammer the dialogue in. I really love it. and they’re all just really dang good-looking

Shiba’s gonna get turned into the fandom bicycle and I’m not mad about it

the speed at which the kgbch artists on my timeline absolutely zeroed in on the 柴に従順 note for Mashiro is frying me, I CAN SEE THE WHEELS TURNING

the new Kagurabachi chapter felt too short 😭 young Shiba and Rokuhira are so cute and ballsy lmfao they’re gonna get into such nonsense shenanigans in this arc with those attitudes, istg 😂

the amount of “XXX character reincarnates and meets older handsome Yuuji” or “XXX reincarnates and eats cursed object Yuuji to become his vessel in 500 years” I’ve seen in the last week has given me life

290

Jさん( ֊’ ワ ‘֊)🌸 @soukatsu.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

anyway if GG-sensei never gives us any other continuation, I hope fans can make the most of this open ending to write and draw all the crazy potential storylines that can come from his “when I die, I’ll become a cursed object so if the world needs help again, someone can just eat me!” plan lmao

Jさん( ֊’ ワ ‘֊)🌸 @soukatsu.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

JJK was a story of Yuuji becoming a bodhisattva. Modulo is a story of Yuuji almost reaching enlightenment to become a buddha but choosing to remain a bodhisattva we, as readers, are meant to understand that he has accepted this role and the suffering doesnt weigh on him the same way it does for us

1220

Jさん( ֊’ ワ ‘֊)🌸 @soukatsu.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

the humans are meant to be selfish and have the consequences of that be their form of suffering. he is there is to be the guide through that. that is his weight he has chosen to bear. none of them could ever bear that themselves so that’s why Yuuji essentially chose to remain as a bodhisattva

1120

Jさん( ֊’ ワ ‘֊)🌸 @soukatsu.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

the point of Yuuji’s connection with Buddhism and imagery as a bodhisattva is that his profound selflessness is of such magnitude, we as humans can only see it as suffering the point of this allusion is Yuuji has accepted this suffering to help and guide others through their versions of suffering

1141

Jさん( ֊’ ワ ‘֊)🌸 @soukatsu.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

“some people can’t see Modulo Yuuji’s ending as anything other than suffering bc they’re just selfish people who can’t imagine themselves in his shoes” is an interesting take bc that’s literally the point. we’re meant to see it as suffering as outsiders. we are not meant to fathom being in his shoes

1212

listening to this week’s Juju Talk podcast as I get work done cause the guest is our beloved Sugitan (Higuruma) and lmfao it took less than five minutes for Enojun to bring up Sugitan’s BFF Youkyan

also fair warning but March is a huge push for a lot of my fandoms getting promos, events, and goods so you'll likely see more of me and Yuuji nui on adventures still no free time cause I'm going from work-busy to otaku-busy but this is why I am an adult with a job ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ to pay for my hobbies

0190

Jさん( ֊’ ワ ‘֊)🌸 @soukatsu.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

she is an extremely admirable and badass character that is hard to dislike, but that doesn't translate well into marketability for goods unfortunately. her value as a character and her value as merch are two completely separate things that I don't think the EN speaking fandom can differentiate 😅

030

Jさん( ֊’ ワ ‘֊)🌸 @soukatsu.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

the folks who show up to events and buy goods are consistently the adult women with income to spare and are, more often than not, fans of the ikemen and the main chara. that's all there is to it. Naoya's popularity for his face and meme-ability is what earned him that slot on in art and goods

0100

Jさん( ֊’ ワ ‘֊)🌸 @soukatsu.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

I think what people fail to realise is that these official art releases are previews for goods that people are expected to buy....this isn't a "this chara hasn't gotten featured lately, let's put them in" type of situation. the chara who get featured at the ones expected to make money.

1100

Jさん( ֊’ ワ ‘֊)🌸 @soukatsu.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

the fact of the matter is that Maki does not make money for koushiki the same way the boys do. she and Panda basically get relegated to filler slots for group chara goods all the time. their goods just sit there. no one wants them, no one trades them.

Jさん( ֊’ ワ ‘֊)🌸 @soukatsu.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

I hope he can rest easy knowing KyoAni's still in good hands...I have high hopes his son will continue his father's legacy and uphold his most cherished values in how KyoAni treated its work and employees 🥺

010

Jさん( ֊’ ワ ‘֊)🌸 @soukatsu.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

for every complaint that comes after a new Naoya official art release, he gets 3 more goods announcements. like I don't understand what is not clicking with these people. he makes more money in Japan, so he keeps getting included in goods and art. it's not difficult to understand how this works

More importantly, an amazing person who shaped a humane philosophy that the studio carried from its founding until now, and in the hands of his family, into the future. People who crossed paths with him remember both small acts of kindness and his ahead-of-their-time views on animation production

All my condolences about the passing of KyoAni founder & president Hideaki Hatta. No exaggeration to say that he's been one of the most important individuals in the history of this industry, especially if you consider that he also had a hand in IG's inception www.kyotoanimation.co.jp/information/...

you could tell from early on that hkznsensei avoided revealing too much about Shiba in the current timeline on purpose, so I’d always hoped we’d maybe get a prequel arc to show us his early years with Kunishige and Azami ykwim…show us how he got that govt attack dog notoriety 👏

this week in Kagurabachi: the new prequel Seitei Wars arc has begun. it opened with 18 year old Shiba Togo getting the Gojo treatment with the “so you’re THE Shiba Togo” “there’s no way I can beat you in a fight” and Shiba ignoring the higher ups and doing whatever he wants wwww I’m so endeared

the average JJK dude bro is never willing to engage in good faith discussions on lighthearted things without it devolving into some powerscaling BS or casual rude behaviour that seems to be the standard for online interaction these days so I don’t bother lol

“why don’t you post any discussions or opinions on twitter anymore” cause the average interaction with an english speaking JJK user on my account ends up being a condescending know-it-all with no sense of humour so what’s the point
