also after 115 chapters, Hokazono-sensei’s improvement in the sheer range of facial expressions is really evident. there are a lot more subtleties and nuances (usually comedic ones) in chara faces now that really hammer the dialogue in. I really love it. and they’re all just really dang good-looking

090

the speed at which the kgbch artists on my timeline absolutely zeroed in on the 柴に従順 note for Mashiro is frying me, I CAN SEE THE WHEELS TURNING

130

I hope Mashiro getting accosted by men yanking his sword out of its sheath off his own back becomes a running gag lol 😭

070

the new Kagurabachi chapter felt too short 😭 young Shiba and Rokuhira are so cute and ballsy lmfao they’re gonna get into such nonsense shenanigans in this arc with those attitudes, istg 😂

050

anyway if GG-sensei never gives us any other continuation, I hope fans can make the most of this open ending to write and draw all the crazy potential storylines that can come from his “when I die, I’ll become a cursed object so if the world needs help again, someone can just eat me!” plan lmao

“some people can’t see Modulo Yuuji’s ending as anything other than suffering bc they’re just selfish people who can’t imagine themselves in his shoes” is an interesting take bc that’s literally the point. we’re meant to see it as suffering as outsiders. we are not meant to fathom being in his shoes

listening to this week’s Juju Talk podcast as I get work done cause the guest is our beloved Sugitan (Higuruma) and lmfao it took less than five minutes for Enojun to bring up Sugitan’s BFF Youkyan

also fair warning but March is a huge push for a lot of my fandoms getting promos, events, and goods so you'll likely see more of me and Yuuji nui on adventures still no free time cause I'm going from work-busy to otaku-busy but this is why I am an adult with a job ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ to pay for my hobbies

for every complaint that comes after a new Naoya official art release, he gets 3 more goods announcements. like I don't understand what is not clicking with these people. he makes more money in Japan, so he keeps getting included in goods and art. it's not difficult to understand how this works

More importantly, an amazing person who shaped a humane philosophy that the studio carried from its founding until now, and in the hands of his family, into the future. People who crossed paths with him remember both small acts of kindness and his ahead-of-their-time views on animation production

All my condolences about the passing of KyoAni founder & president Hideaki Hatta. No exaggeration to say that he's been one of the most important individuals in the history of this industry, especially if you consider that he also had a hand in IG's inception www.kyotoanimation.co.jp/information/...

this week in Kagurabachi: the new prequel Seitei Wars arc has begun. it opened with 18 year old Shiba Togo getting the Gojo treatment with the “so you’re THE Shiba Togo” “there’s no way I can beat you in a fight” and Shiba ignoring the higher ups and doing whatever he wants wwww I’m so endeared

KyoAni has announced that Hatta Hideaki, the president of KyoAni, has passed away I’m heartbroken at his passing….since the very beginning, he was the one to build the foundation of all of KyoAni’s values rest in peace Hatta-san. the light you brought to the world with your works will never fade.

“why don’t you post any discussions or opinions on twitter anymore” cause the average interaction with an english speaking JJK user on my account ends up being a condescending know-it-all with no sense of humour so what’s the point

Jさん( ֊’ ワ ‘֊)🌸 @soukatsu.bsky.social · 01/03/2026

the 🚗 and 🏖️ comparisons after this week’s JJK episode are frying me cause the comparisons I saw don’t bother moving past the “lost faith in humanity and descended into darkness” point and feels superficial—their ideologies and source of their motivations were so different

Hokazono made this page specifically for the Souya enjoyers to put on a tshirt istg

0100

draw your fave characters as lovingly as Hokazono does with Sazanami Souya, with his snot and tears running down his face as he screams about DV and his little brother

090

I’m laughing so hard at Kagurabachi this week man. from day 1 of his appearance, Souya was so goddamn smart, handsome, and competent, it makes sense Hokazono had to balance all that out with him being batshit crazy and a raging brocon HAJDHSJ he’s so entertaining istg

the year is 2026 and ufotable is still holding the tkrb katsugeki anime continuation hostage in their dungeon after 9 wholeass years of stringing fans along with minimal “we’re still working on it” treatment lmfao 💀 shame upon the table that brings the ufos

Gege-sensei: is a very well-read, well-informed, politically aware, and engaged citizen who likes to bring attention to societal issues in his writing some parasocial rando on the internet: there’s no way this man can be Japanese, he’s not xenophobic like the entire society is—he’s gotta be foreign

despair for Yuuji’s current situation vs delight at how much fanart, doujin, and fic will come from this angst in the coming days. the best kind of conflict as a fan lmao

1121

Jさん( ֊’ ワ ‘֊)🌸 @soukatsu.bsky.social · 02/02/2026

all the fanart of Gojo and Nanami in heaven just watching over Yuuji and looking like they’d committed the gravest mistake of their lives is hilariously cathartic lmfao

0110

what breaks me is how Gojo had so much faith in Yuuji’s strength and how his ability to connect with others, his emotional strength, could lead jujutsu society to a better path….only for Yuuji to bear Gojo’s faith like a curse. just like Wasuke’s last wish for Yuuji, and Nanami’s last words.

1291

people want to pass judgement on Yuuji’s decision to not interfere with the battles but he did also say he’s clean up the mess if they lose. until he shows us what “cleaning up their mess” looks like, idk the extent of his detachment to the kids so I’d wait until then to accuse him of heartlessness

5152

deeply unwell about the new Modulo chapter…on one hand we got badass Black Flash and Dismantle Yuuji, on the other hand we got traumatised lonely old man yearning Yuuji. it’s like I was gifted the most loving hug and then got punched in the face

2261

#Modulo モ呪ロ本誌 20 “you seem sturdy. well, you should be fine. you won’t die.” “ah, hey, niichan over there.” Yuuji casually firing mildly poisonous blood bullets behind his back to incapacitate Mino-niichan (lol) was so cool 😭 our first Black Flash from older Yuuji too

1255

“does Gojo Satoru even matter at this point?” “Itadori Yuuji doesn’t matter anymore.” he really carried the burden of Gojo’s words all these years 🥲 I don’t think this is what he wanted for you Yuuji
