Magenta text, 0:00, on dark grey background.

Hallelujah, we're nearly at the end. Just going to drag it out for a few more minutes. But I think you've probably guessed that a timer counting down from 8 might signal something to do with Data Bites...

Very dark grey text, 01:00, on pink background.

A change of colour! How exciting! It's a sign that we're nearly done! (As is the fact we've counted down from 8 to 1!)

Gold text, 2:00, on dark blue background.

Honestly this seemed like a good idea at the time

White 03:00 on very dark grey background. Don't worry, there's not long to go. (I can see that might sound vaguely threatening if you don't know the nice thing this is counting down to. It is nice, honest)

It was a dark blue background in September and the gold clock text was striking 4:00

Back to black (or very very dark grey) - a white 05:00 on that dark background. Have you guessed yet? You've got another 5 of these to go yet

It's the dark blue background again, and the gold text is now reading 6:00. It's definitely counting down to something, isn't it? BUT WHAT

On a very dark grey background, white text reads 07:00. It is a timer! What could it mean?!

On a dark blue background, gold text reads 8:00. Perhaps it's a timer of some description, counting down from 8?

A huge thank you to last night's excellent @transformgovtalks.bsky.social presenters: - Oliver @adalovelaceinst.bsky.social on AI transcription in social care www.adalovelaceinstitute.org/report/scrib... - Owen @infocommission.bsky.social on Better Records Together ico.org.uk/about-the-ic...

Oliver Bruff from the Ada Lovelace Institute presents at TransformGov Talks at the Ministry of Justice. He is stood to the right of a green TransformGov Talks banner and the left of a projector screen. The backs of audience members' heads can be seen as they sit around two long tables, watching and listening.
