Page 2: Sometimes I feel like a creature. // A beast parading around in human skin. Between the two lines of text is an empty human shaped figure peering into a bathroom mirror. The creature silhouette stares back at them curiously.

the trauma of growing up neurodivergent. The human figure is partially shadowed with one creature eye, a partial creature themself. They sit in a psychiatrists office with closed off posture as a human figure points to a clip board and talks to them.

Page 4: But it feels deeper than that. Like intrinsic estrangement. // An impossible divide between myself and what it's like to be human. The figure is now surrounded by other empty human figures, chatting. Even in a crowd the creature seems alone.

Page 5: A secret not meant for me everyone's privy to, that I'm left piecing together alone. Now the partial creature figure peers down at their hands sadly with other humans behind them. Their hands are now clawed and are taking on the same shadowy features of the creature.

Page 6: Despite it all, however, being a creature isn't so bad. // Because while there are millions of humans... Now the figure has turned nearly all creature and skitters away from the crowd of humans.

Page 7: There's other creatures out there, too. The creature's hand reaches out only to be met by another clawed hand with paw pads.
