Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is finally completed. Took me 170 hours. This raises the bar so high for FE as a franchise that it's hard to image going forward from this. This game ate my soul for two weeks. Highly recommend even if it's your first FE game, though playing Three Houses does help.

Fire Emblem Fortune Weave's characters when they ask a random bird what the secret to life is and the bird sings a song instead of flapping its wings:

MY DISAPPOINTMENT IS IMMEASURABLE
AND MY DAY IS RUINED

It took me less than 22 hours to beat Onimusha with every sidequest but every reviewer is saying it took them 25-30 with varying levels of completion. I wonder where that disconnect is.

This is actually grinding my gears. I'm looking at some of "my soon to no longer be moots" on this one. "It's like Nintendo saw the AI-Generated Unreal Engine and went with---" SHUT UP!! SHUT UP. We are NOT doing that. That is SO disrespectful.

“this person is bad so their work was always bad” is also a really dangerous view to take because it leads to - unconscious or not - a bias towards “but I do like this other person’s work, ergo they must be a good person” which, as we have seen over and over, is simply not true
