Sonaura @sonaura.bsky.social · 21/07/2025Oleksandr (GT) created this wonderful video from archive footage to the track ‘The First Commute’. I’m so grateful to Oleksandr for supporting, encouraging and inspiring me during that time. The full video is on youtube and the album on Giraffe Tapes’ bandcamp if you’d like to hear more. 100

Sonaura @sonaura.bsky.social · 21/07/2025Hey, remember when we all went through a global lockdown? 💔 In 2021, Giraffe Tapes kindly released ‘Again Begin’; a fairly dark, heavily textured album processing the anxieties of supposedly coming out the other side of that. 130

Sonaura @sonaura.bsky.social · 15/07/2025there’s something very intimate in tape hiss. it’s like being let into a little secret. perhaps that stems from a nostalgic feeling from mixtapes and other shared tapes. i dunno. anyway. i like this one. #ambientjam #ambientmusic #tapeloops #tapenoise #nostalgia #hauntology 290

Sonaura @sonaura.bsky.social · 12/07/2025This morning's walk through the cool shady woods. main loops are from the tape used in the last jam but played at higher speed (and pitch) in the Tascam 414. tried to keep it minimal for a little bit of peaceful escape. 140

It’s a request for kindness and understanding before doing or saying something which will be perceived as odd. It’s also a way to understand ourselves, having just received a new word to describe how we’ve been our entire lives 3360940
Sonaura @sonaura.bsky.social · 04/02/2025i must have filmed a million overhead wires by now but yesterday, perhaps because i’ve been mulling over concepts for #fawm something clicked and i remembered that cup and string experiment we maybe did at a school? #soundexperiments #experimentalmusic #ambientmusic #soundexploration 3110
