My suspicion is that Jared Issacman really wants to fly a blackbird and thinks he has the juice and know-how to make it happen I just don't see any practical use pulling a SR-71 out of retirement. The juice is almost certainly not worth the squeeze

Sick, but the clouds and sunset are beautiful so I had to go on the balcony and shoot a few frames of film. My camera jammed three times so ended up using more than I wanted to but it's old film I found in the back of a drawer so who knows if it'll come out good anyway

I did a quick scrub of the company chat directory because I went down this rabbit hole. What I learned is most people don't add pronouns (they're optional) If they do, it skews she/her There's exactly 1 She/they and 1 he/they There are 3 They/thems and two of us are on the same team

I don't know if I'm more annoyed by the person at work who has their pronouns set as "American. proud to be" or the person who set them as "tired/pressed" One of these people knows what they're doing and the other probably thinks they're being funny

I take a lot of pictures of birds. By every metric mirrorless cameras and their subject-aware autofocus are the better tool. But there is an emptiness to a digital viewfinder that brings me back to my SLRs.

i adore how trans lesbians will use “beautiful woman” as a sobriquet for another trans woman when telling a story, e.g. “i saw a beautiful woman on the bus.” i love it so much that it almost feels profane to lay bare the ritual like this
