Funny thing is that Julia Sweeney, creator and performer of Pat, would probably be the biggest critic of her character. She was even a regular playing herself on Abby McEnany's show, Work in Progress (produced by Lily Wachowski). The joke being her constantly cringing and apologizing for Pat.

It's a great understated story of group madness. Like their cause and actions never seem actually unreasonable or inherently irrational. But the conflation of cause and product, the high of the chase, it makes progressively more and more of them choose to act against their best interest. Then *pop*

I remember telling a teacher, fresh from a Vegas trip, that my family had taken me there three times. I expected her to be impressed. But in hindsight, she must have considered calling CPS. To be fair, my parents were just unknowing Disney Adults, and Vegas was cheap and more socially acceptable.

I kinda felt the same way about AW2. I loved the game, but the first time around I did not gel with the combat design. Especially early on, it felt geared for those experienced with how the game works. Not for first time players still learning the mechanics and combat interactions.

Canon of Balls? It's a First Person Monkey Ball platformer in Team Ico/Fromsoft environments. A small, brief game. Experimental, focused on exploration and navigational fun. But definitely has some very, very difficult and I believe optional platforming.
