Some of my favorite non-native English speaker quirks that I genuinely actually love are how French speakers put a space between some punctuation and the end of a sentence (like this !) and how speakers of (some?) Slavic languages do smilies without eyes using a single parenthesis) <-smile

Same tbh like I didn't even know these things could actually crack like that lmfao!! Thank you! Luckily it's as easy as cutting the power to the socket, removing one screw for the face plate, removing like 2 more screws for the plugs, and then screwing in the replacement. Takes like 5 minutes

I'm not blaming Displate for this btw. I've known for years that the shitty drywall in this house is coated in some hell slime that keeps any adhesive from sticking to it (tape, poster tack, etc) and I probably should have actually stapled the magnet stickers into the wall

Bro it cracked my fuckin plug, man. I gotta give it to the Displate itself though. You'd never even tell that thing fell like 5ft down and off a wall socked. It's not dent and the fake wood grain frame around the print didn't even chip lmao

It's one of Coheed's least popular albums so it didn't sell very well, but it has the novel in the special edition set that's the beginning of the entire Amory Wars story, so completionists for both their discography and Amory Wars story want it and there just aren't enough copies to go around lol

One of the hardest things about the kind of art I do is that there are like a billion guides for how to do compositions for portfolio illustration or typography for ad/literature designs, but it's so hard finding stuff for like "how to compose a pleasing bookmark graphic"

You know the love for a band is real when I got them on the same vest twice and in prime real estate on my favorite leather jacket (Coheed & Cambria)

Comics, surprisingly! I'm not super familiar with Joker-focused comics (I have read a decent amount of Batman though), but the style looked similar to Brian Bolland's work for The Killing Joke with the really sharp smile, crisp shading, and slightly larger teeth.
