I discovered glowworms in my yard for the first time this year and they're so cute!!!!!! They glow a faint green like a dim lightning bug and are all over the grass. Idk if we've always had them here, but I never noticed them until now

A photo of a glowworm on a metal spoon. It has a brown segmented carapace with a little tiny head (left). It's pale yellow/white underside is slightly visible via reflection of the spoon.

Apple from the bag of grocery store apples has a single picturesque leaf on it this morning. Effervescent addition to my oatmeal !

Photo of a hand holding a small red apple with a single tiny, dried out leaf still stuck to its stem. The leaf has an ever so slight curl to it.

Bro it cracked my fuckin plug, man. I gotta give it to the Displate itself though. You'd never even tell that thing fell like 5ft down and off a wall socked. It's not dent and the fake wood grain frame around the print didn't even chip lmao

A photo of a power outlet with a cracked plate. The top outlet is sagging out of the wall slightly

Another photo of the outlet that better shows the crack in the top part of the plate around the plugs and a smaller crack in the lower of the two plugs.

You know the love for a band is real when I got them on the same vest twice and in prime real estate on my favorite leather jacket (Coheed & Cambria)

The Coheed and Cambria "keywork" symbol hand embroidered in orange and yellow threw on a purple denim vest. It's three circles in a triangular shape with a triangle connecting their centers and smaller circles in the spaces between the bigger ones.

The keywork symbol painted in acid green on a black leather jacket sleeve at the end.

The Philippe Druillet Elric comic (Elric the Necromancer) is absolutely fucking batshit how did this not take him like 300 years to draft and ink. I need a copy of this printed at poster size so I can rub my eyeballs over every dot of ink

A page from Druillet's Elric comic showing Elric and several other characters walking through a colossal hall in the emperor's castle/palace at Melnibone. Huge pillars support a decorate ceiling as rays of light shine through and building-sized statues sat upon carved blocks look over the pathway. Every surface of the palace is decorated.

Another page from the same comic, depicting hundreds of stairs leading up to a large ball with a demon or dragon on it and carved pillars on either side. Figures stand at the base of the stairs and are so entirely dwarfed by the architecture that they're hard to even notice.

Smeg is so old there's evidence of this save on both a flatscreen and a CRT TV. This is where this OC got his start, this is the first Smeg 2026 - 2015

Smeg the Dark Souls 1 OC on a flatscreen tv. He's standing at a bonfire and wearing the black knight set and sword with Gwyn's crown. His HP stretches across the screen. His face is flat and he has a giant chin. The colors are kind of washed out.

Smeg on an old CRT TV, taken up close. The colors are juicer and if you zoom in close enough you can see the little scanlines. His HP bar is a bit shorter here.

You know, I do gotta kind of give it to Microsoft for still letting me be able to update my 360 profile on my actual Xbox 360 still. Some gems from my 20 year old account

A Dark Souls 1 character named Smeg that's level 176, at Sen's Fortress, and has a play time of 256 hours, 3 minutes, and 22 seconds. Smeg is wearing the black knight armor and Gwyn's crown. He has blue hair, a massive chin, flat face, and tiny eyes.

Bungie Day 2008 gamerpics
Bungie gamerpics (from 2007)

Doom (1993)
Duke Nukem 3D

ME TOOOO. Especially stuff made officially for fans like these MAXIMUM magazines too. I thought for sure they'd be lost media because of how niche and limited the print runs for them had to have been. Some of the old Encyclopedias have merch/goods pages too: solradguy.neocities.org/archive/libr...

B. GGXX "instruction set"

D. GGXX signed catalogue

I've used a crop of Reiko from Virgin Angel (18+ game) as an avatar on some websites for like a decade now but I've never played it and I don't know anyone that's played it (idk if there's even an English translation?). It has such a cool art style though

Reiko's character art from the PC-98 game Virgin Angel. The palette is shades of teal and soft peach colors. She's wearing full visor sunglasses, a tight dress, and long gloves and boots. Her hair (and other assets) are voluminous. The background is a circuit board with bullets scattered across it.

Photo of a huge stack of paper (roughly 80 pages) bent towards the camera to show its girth.

The booklets spread out on a desk. They are the Guilty Gear Copybook Zine and have a drawing of Order Sol with his sword and a fireball on their covers.

Also found some chicken of the woods for the first time!!! One of my dream mushrooms tbh. Shame it was somewhere I couldn't harvest any, but it was still incredibly exciting. The ground around its log was absolutely covered in these little coral fungi too. They're firmer than I thought they'd be!!

A photo of delicately yellow chicken-of-the-woods mushrooms growing out of a log. They are several layers of roughly hand-sized, fan-shaped, shelf mushrooms with bands of different shades of yellow to pastel orange.

The chicken-of-the-woods from the side, showing the different overlapping layers of the fungus. The edges are slightly rippled. The log it grows from is ancient and mossy.

The chicken from underneath. It's a polypore mushroom, so it lacks any gills. The pores are so tiny as to give the impression of it being entirely smooth. The mushroom appears more orange from this angle as the light filters through it.

Little white coral fungi sprouting out of dead leaf litter on the forest floor. It looks like its name implies; several branching white clusters of stems that look like dead reef coral.

A digitally framed sort of art nouveau-adjacent digital drawing of Sol Badguy (Strive) doing a cool pose with the Outrage sword.

Another drawing in the same style as the previous Sol, but with Jack-O' sort of leaning forward towards the camera. Stars and flowers surround her.

An angular, limited palette, drawing of Order Sol stabbing a green serpent dragon in front of an eclipse.

GGXX Sol (from the back) drawn digitally with kind of a funky 1980s horror movie palette with a red sun or moon behind him and a panel insert of a bunch of human and demon skulls. His sword has a crazy perspective pointing towards the viewer.

Cell shaded art of the front and back of a cute pink fox character with bluish eyes, pink hair, and a thick fluffy tail. Their little tongue is poking out mischievously.

Took the 3DS to the museum today. Panoramic View of the Alps (Gustave Courbet); Varaha, Boar Incarnation of Vishnu (Central India, 700s-800s); Tomb Guardian (China, Tang Dynasty); The Dream (Salvador Dalí) #3ds

A 3DS photo of several paintings hanging in a darkly lit gallery. The closest (and clearest) painting is a landscape by Gustave Courbet titled "Panoramic View of the Alps."
