On a black inky background, a figure with a holy aura stands in the background. Hes adorned with robes signifying he is That Man in his GG2 appearance. He's grabbing the head of Raven (gg2 outfit) hard enough to draw thick blood, perhaps having scratched at his skull a few times. Raven is clenching around his body, in pleasure from the pain he so enjoys
the hands on that mans robe surround the composition

What does Guilty gear mean to you?
Guilty Gear showed me a couple of things: that you can always try again, and again, and again. To never give up on trying to be who you really are. The world may not wait for you; but you don't need to wait for it either.

And for that it means everything to me.

The story excerpt reads:
The prince, clothes dyed crimson from his blood and caked in mud, readjusted the grip on his sword and raised his eyes to meet her own. Finally, he chose to speak:

“I understand that I may die before you today, that this battle may be fruitless, but if it allows for even one of my people to escape, to live and fight another day, then my sacrifice will have not been in vain.”

The human’s words caused the commander to halt, her smile settling to something more neutral, almost unreadable. She didn’t want to admit it, but she was shocked. For the prince’s words had not just reached her, but the look in his eyes as he said them, the conviction they held told her that everything he said was true. She had thought it was her that had trapped the prince, caught him off guard in the dead of night the wind and harsher rains hiding her attack. But as she’d come to realize, it was her who’d been trapped. As she had realized with the boy’s statement he hadn’t been facing her one-on-one with such intensity because he wanted to be the one to claim victory over her as she’d previously thought, To put it simply: he had offered himself as a sacrifice, understanding how his position had made him a bigger target to his enemies. He offered himself, so that more could live.

What does Guilty gear mean to you?
Grungy, sweaty, diverse weirdos getting a second chance at humanity (and sometimes gender).

The story excerpt by Milky reads:
Excerpt, "Knights in Black Velvet."
Thiollier looked up at the odd bush, which swayed subtly despite there being no wind so deep within the earth. It was only then that Moore noticed the childlike form hanging from its branches like leaden fruit. Thiollier had done it after all: he had found his goddess. And yet satisfaction eluded him. The slumbering deity had not comforted him, nor could she protect him. But Moore could.

“Thiollier,” he whispered, recognizing how perilously close to the edge of some unseen abyss he yet sat, “please. Do not seek ebony oblivion. Nor velvet sleep eternal. I understand, I am selfish to ask at the foot of your goddess. But please…stay awake with me. Stay with me…”

What is a copybook zine? "Copybook" generally calls to mind a type of workbook in English, but we decided to combine the Japanese "copybook" meaning with the English "zine" in an attempt to emphasize the low budget, DIY, aspect of this project.

A graphic explaining what a copybook zine is. It reads, "What is a copybook zine?"
"A copybook is a type of Japanese doujinshi neither printed or bound by a publisher, instead generally being printed on a home or library printer, then bound with staples; while a "doujinshi" is a non-professionally made, independently published, creative work similar to a "zine," though a doujinshi can also be a novel, music, or other form of creative media while a zine generally isn't.

We decided to combine the Japanese "copybook" with the English "zine" in an attempt to emphasize the low budget, DIY, aspect of this project."

The bottom of the graphic includes the Fanlore.org article for "Doujinshi" as a source used and the GG Copybook project's carrd (ggcopybook.carrd.co).
