Some people will insist the creamy Tom yum is superior but don't believe the hype the regular is just as good and easier to find. I like to break up the noodles before cooking and mix the finished product with rice so it's more filling.

Diabolical shrinkflation after the Japanese store had to raise their prices on everything

Dorayaki with the thinnest ribbon of red bean paste you've ever seen altho this is slightly misleading cos it was thicker on the other side so one may chalk it up to uneven distribution I still think it was a stingy amount of filling

I actually worked rly hard on this cup so here it is without glare

A bookmark that says "enjoying your book? Don't forget your cup of tea!" And a drawing of a distressed mug of tea with a speech bubble that reads "mother... I've grown so cold..." It's funny bc I will often make a cup of tea and sit down to read while it brews but then I get so engrossed in my book I forget I made a cup of tea and it has grown cold and bitter I am pretending this is this is an relatable occurrence by addressing the issue like everyone knows what I'm talking about

This is exactly how some of y'all approach media btw

Excerpt from 'hooked' by asako yuzuki with the following passage highlighted "it appeared as though erikos assessment of tv programmes wasn't based on whether or not something was entertaining. No, eriko imposed her own yardsticks even in the world of fiction, diligently measuring everything as though it were a professional assignment and finding it impossible to enjoy anything that didn't meet her standards."
