iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

We're also inclined to think this is fine. It's less the exclusivity of the content than the fact that it is collated and delivered on a monthly basis. Ultimately the market will decide what works though...

010

Sofawolf Press Inc 🔜 BLFC @sofawolf.com · 26/09/2026

It's very much at the "an idea we've had" stage. There feels to us like there is an unfilled niche between the "all you can eat buffet" of online archives and the "gourmet meal" of a carefully assembled anthology. Something like a high-end catered cafeteria. Maybe?

010

Sofawolf Press Inc 🔜 BLFC @sofawolf.com · 26/09/2026

Nah, I was just thinking of Patreon re-runs as being a logical source for material people have already written and gotten the first squeeze out of that now is probably ripe for some new eyes. Anything pre-written works. We may even do some digital 'zines eventually.

210

Sofawolf Press Inc 🔜 BLFC @sofawolf.com · 26/09/2026

I don't see this as being at all out of scope. Vignettes still give people a taste of the world and the writing and can get people interested in the more cohesive bits. But I know a lot of authors post exclusive (for a time) series and short stories to theirs, which spawned the idea.

010

Sofawolf Press Inc 🔜 BLFC @sofawolf.com · 26/09/2026

Right now just respond with whether this sounds interesting or not (and share this post around). Once we get a sense as to interest (if any) we'll do a more formal announcement and probably get together a discussion channel of some sort to work out the details.

130

Sofawolf Press Inc 🔜 BLFC @sofawolf.com · 26/09/2026

Benefit to us is that it is a quick draw to our channel, through which we hope to do other things in the near future. Benefit to you is that you get a little extra scratch and advertise your own Patreon. Benefit to readers is a mix of curated Furry stuff delivered to them automatically.

100

Sofawolf Press Inc 🔜 BLFC @sofawolf.com · 26/09/2026

The idea would be to share stories, comics, and cool Furry content in a one-stop "Sign up and get a taste of what's out there." format. We'd pay a TBD amount either up front or via a one-time share of the monthly proceeds from the digest. Still working out the financials, but something like that.

100

Sofawolf Press Inc 🔜 BLFC @sofawolf.com · 26/09/2026

A question for Furry creators with a Patreon... Would you be interested in re-surfacing some of the content which you have shared with your patrons on a new channel? We've been tossing around the idea of creating a monthly digital magazine and publishing it via Patreon.

Thanks to everyone who has responded. We'll be finalizing the presentation next week so there is still time to add your thoughts if you would like. Marketing is hard, especially as an indie creator (or even a very small company). We'd love to address as many concerns as possible.

For a first year con they did very well, with mostly the normal glitches that even the monolithic cons still run into. We particularly enjoyed New Mexico and look forward to returning in future years (and maybe being able to stay a little longer and explore).

We can definitely see their numbers continuing to grow, especially since the US is no longer a place the rest of the world wants to (or should) travel to. Congrats to the whole EF team for the payoff of a year of hard work and here's to the same for next year!

Their Art Show was especially impressive: well-lit, central to all the action, plenty of space between panels, and little quiet nooks to sit in. Their embrace of support for digital and alternative media is a smart move and sets them up well for the future. The Art Show is definitely not dying.
