When a review profile has 'horns' (spikes at 10/10 and 1/10) it indicates a 'political' fight not a review of the facts. (Using IMdB data) That 4,600 people took the time to post a 1/10 score to damage the movie is indeed crazy.

I think there is zero in-game basis for connecting the Protheans and the Angara. Whether the voice actors, Ike Amadi and Nyasha Hatendi have similar voices is a personal judgment call.

With Crimson Desert dropping soon, it's amazing how many AI Slop 'game guides' are offered for sale on Amazon. I counted 17 of them. It bemuses me why both Amazon and Pearl Abyss seem to think this is ok. I used to like Game Guides but I suspect those days have gone (AI Slop excepted).

Enjoying the 10-year-old game Mafia III. For an open world romp where you tackle thugs, drug dealers, corrupt law enforcement, bigoted media influencers, bought judges, white supremacists and unhinged politicians, it ticks a lot of boxes and gives sobering insight into the late 1960's. 🫢

I was idly discussing classic #StarTrek and suggested that it would be better for a new viewer to only watch the best 50 (skipping 30 filler episodes) than plough on through the whole lot. 3rd person is a huge step for me. I played some at launch for a month with a month of U+ but the 1st person isn't so good for me. I picked up the game now at 75% off. I'm guessing with the movie release in December, the price will bump back up when the 3rd person update drops. 🤔

Hot day. Cans of Pepsi* (works with Coke too I expect) in the back of the car. Drive over some rough roads and bang! 😲 Uncertain of the science involved here, but it was quite a shock. (8 can pack - 3 exploded, 2 deformed, 3 unaffected). *(I like the Strawberries and Cream variety, don't @ me).
