It could be subset of the service patterns eg appointments communication patterns could be: request for action (we need you to book an appointment), confirmation (appointment booked), reminder (appointment coming up), feedback (satisfied with appointment) Inform (eg Did not attend consequences)

One of the things that is going to change is that we’re never ever again going to be able to be dominated by public officials who tell us, ‘Trust the experts,’” Mr. Kennedy said during the Tuesday session.

“If somebody tells you, ‘Masks work, trust the experts,’ A.I. may tell you otherwise,” he added. “If somebody tells you, ‘Social distancing works, trust the experts,’ A.I. may correct that. And if somebody tells you that a vaccine will prevent transmission and infection, or you need to take it to protect your grandmother, A.I. may say it actually doesn’t do that.”

Bring back shame! When I comes out that London lads were robbing fuel from rural areas instead of being Iranian small boat crossing terrorists, i think sitting MPs need to do a public apology- to be televised on every news channel and on the front pages. So sick of no consequences for fear mongering

I’m not sure, pits had different shifts/ working hours. I think the real difference was that knowledge was seen as a community virtue not as an individualistic pursuit. The Workers Educational Associations classes were central to a lot of the organised activities. Allotments were just a necessity.

Same in my family (grandad was a miner), it was drilled into me that books and art were windows into other worlds and knowledge can’t be taken from you, as opposed to possessions or liberty.

In fact whilst I’m at it; most UK fashion and arts has come from the working class. Teddy boys, Mods, 2Tone ska, Trojan Skinheads, northern soul, casuals, rave, Bhangra Reggae, Brummy heavy metal, blitz kids, UK Garage, Grime, alternative standup comedy… Christ, even Gibert & George.

As an aside mining communities were incredibly creative and literate. People always want to paint working class people as idiots. Please look up Ashington Group, Miners’ Weekend School, Welsh National Memorial Association. Or the longevity of Lit&Phil or Baltic gallery from working class members.

Im a northerner that moved south, found myself in Brixton- loved it, it felt warm, full of life and community. Within the space of 18 months we had been priced out, our favourite pub closed and turned into flats and Brixton market was full of Barbours and ‘yaah’s’. Had to claim asylum in Penge.

I fully believe that there will be design counter movement to AI dross… eventually. In the mean time, other roles will continue to encroach on design and research roles by vibe coding- designers become fixers rather than creatives until no one knows what the fixes are because HCI specialists leave.

My whole career the Humanities seem to have been curled up in a defensive crouch trying to justify our meaning/existence. At times it has even seemed a productive thought exercise, but I think generally whatever body has demanded the justification is not really open to being persuaded of anything.

I’d argue that RNLI volunteers should fall under the Assaults on Emergency Workers (Offences) Act 2018, and think that should be expanded out to doxxing to be explicit as part of common assault (as is with threatening words/ spitting/ raised fist etc)

My only hope for Ai is that it is reclaimed for good. That people are assisted with bureaucracy of Gov or renewed access to knowledge that you normally have to know someone to get; gather evidence and legally seek help against negligent landlords, tax filing, create business plans, exam cribsheets

I’m not really sure how they ‘don’t see any violence’ if you’ve needed to have medical treatent for being attacked? Or vechiles needing repairing, Or RNLI volunteers saying they’ve been threatened with doxxing? Seems like the violence/ damage and intimidation is plain as day.

Seen section 60/ 60AA of the Criminal Justice Act as well as Section 47A of the Terrorism Act used seemingly at the drop of a hat; disproportionately within black & working class communities, counter protests etc. Not a peep when a co-ordinated gang of hundreds of masked men turn up in Dover though?

Apple News has over 500 (I stopped counting at this point) articles about the A66 crash- many of them vilifying teenagers and Teesside in general. Contrast that to Ref0rm & the man trying to become UKs PM, illegally taking foreign donor money and discussing subverting parliamentary processes, 5!
36 online news articles showing inflamtory headings such as ‘Middlesbrough MP says intimidation of local residents after A66 crash is terrorism’, ‘Men in A66 wrong-way crash that killed two police officers had 37 convictions’ and ‘I admit to thinking I’m not sad the thugs that killed two PCs died’4 headlines out of the 5, returned from an Apple News search for the term ‘reform foreign donor’. all headlines fail to mention the criminal behaviour, instead choosing to call investigative journalism ‘a sting’ and reform aides quitting. Nothing about one of those aides also teaching ‘ethics’ at Cambridge though…
