day 1: yearning/pining + "it's OK-- you can touch me" go on, daichi! your (new) boyfriend wants you to embrace him ❤️‍🩹 #daisuga #daisugaweek2025 @daisugaweek2025.bsky.social

A colored illustration of Daichi and Koushi in their high school classroom, right by the windows, for DaiSuga Week 2025. The illustration mimics the look of an anime still. They are backlit by the setting sun, the sky a mix of pinks, purples, and oranges. They are both wearing the white shirts of their uniforms and dark-colored slacks. Daichi is seated on a chair, leaning slightly forward with his elbows on the desk, one hand raised next to his cheek. Koushi is seated in front of Daichi, sitting backwards on his chair. Daichi looks surprised as Koushi, flushed and slightly nervous, tells Daichi, "It's OK-- you can touch me."

Chapter illustration for the Daisuga fic, Ropes & Reins.

The text on the drawing reads:

The drawing shows both Daichi and Koushi in a vulnerable moment. They are both shown from just below the chest up, Daichi on the left and Koushi on the right. Daichi is leaning over to rest his head on Koushi's shoulder. His eyes are closed and he's being vulnerable. Koushi as arched away slightly, unsure how to react. His eyelids are lowered, maybe closed too, and his expression is sad.

nii-chan's first crisis #daisuga

A colored, illustrated comic of an important day for the Sawamura-Sugawara family. In the first page, post-timeskip Daichi is carrying his and Koushi's five-year-old son in his arms. Daichi has a bit of a five o'clock scruff and is wearing a lavender polo, while his son wears a yellow, long-sleeved shirt with three star motifs on the sleeve and blue jeans. Daichi asks him, "Are you excited?" to which his son replies an enthusiastic, "Yeah! Let's go, Tou-san! I wanna see Papa!" He also adds on, "I'm gonna share all my toys with them!" Daichi gently replies, "It might be a while before they can play with you..." then compliments him, saying, "That's very kind of you, though!"

The second page includes a panel at the top with post-timeskip Koushi, hair slightly longer and tied in a small ponytail. He is wearing a pale green shirt with three clover motifs and a pale pink sweater. He has his arms spread out happily, while his son beams and races towards him. His son yells, "Papa!" while Koushi replies, "There's my boy!" Underneath the panel, their son is shown hiding behind Koushi, looking slightly nervous. Koushi giggles and asks, "Are you getting shy now?" Then, he reassures him, saying, "It's OK, come here. They've been waiting to meet you..."

The third page reveals that their son had been eagerly and nervously waiting to meet his new, twin baby siblings. The background resembles the Haikyuu!! episode where Daichi and Koushi receive fortunes for a "future blessing," wherein their children are said blessings. The words "Big brother!" are displayed behind their son as he peers excitedly at his siblings, who are asleep on a bed. The babies' hair is a similar shade to Koushi's, but darker, and has a straighter texture. They each have a distinctive mole under their lip, on opposite sides. The Sawamura-Sugawara eldest child is a son called Hiroki, aged 5 years and 7 months old. Their second child is a daughter, Akiko, only a day old and 12 minutes older than her twin brother. Their third child is another son, Kohaku, also only a day old and 12 minutes younger than his twin sister.

The fourth page includes a top panel of wholesome exchanges of dialogue. Hiroki says, "They're so...little..." as Daichi replies, "Right? That's why you can look out for them as a big brother!" Koushi adds on, "Then as you grow up, you'll all take care of each other!" Daichi assures that, "Your siblings will love you as much as we do, baby." Then, Koushi asks, "Oh, darling, why are you crying?" Hiroki warbles out, in genuine distress, "Tou-san, Papa--they don't have any arms!" The bottom panel shows Hiroki bursting into tears as Daichi and Koushi are surprised, but amused at Hiroki's outburst, with Daichi cartoonishly spitting out water. The comic ends with a note that Suga-sen/Suga-papa then taught Hiroki about the concept of "swaddling." Hiroki was relieved that his sister and brother did indeed have arms.

good knight, sleep tight 💤 #daisuga

A colored, half-body illustration of post-timeskip Daichi and Koushi heading to bed. Daichi is carrying Koushi in his arms, bridal style, as Koushi is half-asleep. Daichi is wearing a yellow Miyagi Fire Department t-shirt and navy blue sweatpants while Koushi is still in his teacher uniform: a green jacket, a white button-up, and grey slacks. Daichi gazes at Koushi fondly, telling him, "Let's go to bed, sweet prince." Koushi responds, "Mn...Daichi, I wanna be the knight..." and Daichi chuckles and corrects himself, saying, "Then I'll tuck you in, darling knight."

A one page comic with the main colors of dark greyish blue with pops of yellow as speech bubbles . The top panel is a shot of a recreational park at a winter night with twinkling lights installed around the trees and shrubs, a speech bubbles says, “Well,”.

The 2nd and 3rd panels show a small staff booth with old computers and park staffs daichi and suga sitting next to each other, suga sipping from a hot chocolate plastic cup before continuing to say in the next panel:

“I’m looking forward to taking in this year’s Illuminations with you, Sawamura Daichi.” This panel shows suga closing his eyes and grinning with whipped cream visible on his nose from daichi’s POV as the lights seem to blur around him.

The bottom-left panel shows daichi blushing and staring at suga. The bottom-right panel is a break from the previous tone with a sudden yellow background and daichi taking a napkin to suga’s nose saying “You have whipped cream on your nose.” while suga mischievously says “Hehe”.

Wait, there's more! Washing laundry sounds so much more exciting when you have someone to do it with! And that's just what our beloved writer @pufftbumble.bsky.social , beta @snowytheflower.bsky.social , and artist @shanni99.bsky.social have done by pairing them together in this #DaiSuga AU.

A small slice of a pink-coloured comic on the left, where Daichi presses her braless chest against Suga's back on the top panel and whispers "now press delicate" on Suga's ear on the bottom panel.
On the right, the text on a white box reads: "Now press delicate," Daichi leaned a little more, breathing into Suga's ear causing her knees to knock. She hastily pressed the button.
""Good girl. Click start.""
Barely holding in her moan, Suga struggled a bit to find the start button as her body was being pressed down on the center of the panel, but managed to squeeze her hand through and click the button.
The machine kicks up as it starts vibrating off the ground. Suga turned surprised by the sudden movement and let out a high-pitched squeal. Her hips rocked back into Daichi's.
