Anyway, played Wolverine. For the first time in my entire life, as soon as I was finished with it, I quickly returned my copy of a game and traded it with something else. Good lord, this game is ass.

Wolverine and Jean's relationship in the Insomniac game is just one or two steps away from being Seven Deadly Sins.

Maybe plan out your trilogy instead of handing movies out to different people with conflicting viewpoints and ideas.

Episode VII: Wars are neverending, a new one always starts. Episode VIII: Destinies aren't always predetermined or preset, they don't define who you are as a person. Episode IX: Utter bullshit. Overall: A cautionary tale of what happens when you have too many cooks in the kitchen.

Oh, spoilers for Wolverine that a pale skinned British dude named Mr Sinister turns out to be evil.

So when it comes to Wolverine, normally I would be in the try it out yourself and see what it’s like… But uh… this game costs £70. Would you spend that much money if most major reviewers said it was mid?

Having a version of a character from an not very good comic event is certainly a creative choice. I’m not against Phoenix Cyclops, it is admittedly an inspired choice… just also a weird choice.

If anyone is getting smacked with this - just use deer.social or another alternate client. Bsky is just an AT Protocol Client, and your Bsky account is an AT Protocol account - you can use your same Bsky account thru another AT Protocol Client, no migration or loss necessary. Could not be easier.

This kinda sums up the Graphics Problem with games right now Everything has to be MAXIMUM FIDELITY. Those waves ARE beautiful! They probably cost a ton and took forever to do! And when you actually play the game you are going to speed by them and barely notice because you're shooting Grunts.

A personal favourite of mine is No Man's Land, where after Gotham survived a massive Earthquake, the US Government took one look at that godforsaken city and placed it on lockdown, isolating it from the rest of the country.

Genuinely could not care less about comic piracy when the industry is as broken to its core as it is Maybe relying solely on pre-orders of single issues and Nothing Else to keep books afloat is a fucking terrible business model

Absolute Comics is doing what Ultimate Comics did twenty five years ago and what comics have struggled to do since then, it's giving people a place to jump on with no prior knowledge and all they have to do is just keep reading the series they want, one issue to another.

I really don’t think any sequel to Lord of the Rings is really needed or necessary. The story is over, the bad guy is dead and Frodo moved to the Undying Lands. I’m fully aware I’m being cynical, but it just feels like a futile attempt at recapturing the same lightning in a bottle.
