sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 27/09/2026Since my youth, I've never given two shits about what's popular. I was listening to show tunes, soundtracks, and Phil Collins. Others were listening to Alanis Morrisette or Nirvana. 000
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 27/09/2026No disagreement here. I just think the vitriol between the two has reached childish levels hence its use. 010
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 27/09/2026Because that was the whole impetus for it to be made IIRC. Not that it matters to you or me or the viewing public. 240

sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 24/09/2026Perhaps. Though I'd really like an Old Man's War live action adaptation. 000
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 23/09/2026Other obvious things would be a new game engine, support for current graphics tech, etc. But that's not really the point. Bring Destiny forward in more ways than one. We'll see you starside. @bungie.net #bungie #destiny #destiny2 #eyesupguardian 000
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 23/09/20266. You give players such incredible vistas and skyboxes. Let us explore them. The Red War felt far too enclosed despite having to fight for the whole of The Last City. Give us room to breathe. Expand the public spaces, patrol areas, and more. 100
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 23/09/20265. You've taken us into quantum realms and alternative realities, take us somewhere The Light dare not go. The Light has always acted as a steadfast unmovable position. Let's move The Light forward into places considered sacrosanct or impossible to go. Step out of our galaxy. 100
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 23/09/20264. Don't be sheepish about asking to bring key staff that were let go back into the fold. This can help accelerate repairing trust but so be open to doing things entirely new while allowing canon to remain in the past. 100
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 23/09/20263. While not meant to be taken literally, approach development in the open akin to how Star Citizen has kept their core community engaged since day one. Provide test servers to live test with the community. If this limits the "mystery" of Destiny too much, consider a new approach to that feeling. 100
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 23/09/20262. Put content remastering on the table under the new framework. Allow the new framework to flex by allowing legacy and vaulted content to be brought to current state through the new framework. This opens up a potential for allowing players of all platforms to experience Destiny beginning to end. 100
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 23/09/20261. Review how D1 and D2 have both built and extended their content and look look back on what tactical solutions worked or revisit solutions thought too out of scope for the time. Evaluate the individual systems and create a new scalar framework to append and create new systems idempotently. 100
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 23/09/2026I'm no Destiny influencer or streamer but considering the volume of work the Destiny team has cut out for them I wanted to put my ideas and thoughts out there as UX systems designer as much of what they have to content with right now is the architecture and systems that drive content development. 100
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 17/09/2026Plus, that's what experts are for. They help you answer questions to make decisions about policy. Oh wait, the right-wing has destroyed all support for science within their echo chamber. 030

sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 16/09/2026...large scale singular business owners who have millions or billions of dollars to be used as effective and deliberate disruption of someone's right to free speech seems a bit like overreach by the oligarchy. 200
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 16/09/2026I wonder if there would be benefit for enshrining a 1st amendment addendum that discusses the use of money to affect someone's ability to express their opinion. In those jittery days, there was a real chance that someone would think a car with this sticker WOULD ACTUALLY HAVE A BOMB. 111
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 11/09/2026Same. Once per season is all we needed for gimmicks. We had, what, three so far this season? I hope next season nixxes them entirely and give us a good final arc. 120

Maybe this is just the evolution of documentation though. Similar to when we moved from style guides to shipping actual components. We’re moving from providing design data to design intelligence. 🧠 232
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 09/09/2026What's probably more important is that those experts have not been able to successfully get their executive leadership to advocate for serious self-regulation to mitigate or completely ameliorate this. 020
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 09/09/2026Probably a mix of factors including hardware blocks and undocumented firmware. Also, I suspect most privacy-focused individuals just never hook their tv to the internet which is usually enough to negate it's use if you're using HDMI inputs for your smart device(s). 030
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 09/09/2026I could see this as an abstracted DIY project where, so long as we source display driver boards, we could figure out how to get an RPi to connect and manage the display to the required specs of the panel. Those specs, at least in terms of basics, are easily found. 010
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 09/09/2026literally just need a stripped down OG (non-google) Android OS...granted it needs firmware of a device for testing and a driver board but that doesn't seem unreasonable in this day and age. 210

sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 08/09/2026Rewatching Supernatural: I love the show runners inclusion of Eileen. The relationship she has with Sam is so fucking adorable. 000
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 08/09/2026I was just talking with some folks about this. I wonder how far away we are from the lack of privacy hitting a kind of crescendo and we start seeing kickstarters where you can pair a Rasp Pi and a panel from one of the top three manufacturers. That or those manufacturers finally offering a dumb tv. 000
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 08/09/2026I'll bet that in the next few years there might be enough privacy clamoring for someone like Sony to offer better hardware level privacy settings or offer "dumb TVs" again. 120
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 08/09/2026Absolutely. I kind of wish someone would do an "open-sourced" smart tv that takes a high end panel from LG, Samsung, or Sony, but allows you to disable specific hardware functions but still use firmware from the panel companies. That way you can still get the branded preconfigured panel tuning. 230
sɴᴅƨ @snds.design · 08/09/2026I wonder how many other brands are doing this. I can almost guarantee Samsung is. It'd be nice if Sony wasn't as they'd be my next step to replace my LG tvs. 131
