These coaches from international superpowers aren't MLS-pilled, they just know that this is fundamentally how the game works. You have to look at your domestic league for talent. From there, shoot for volume. There will always be some players that stick.

Anyways, all this isn't even to say MLS is so much better than other leagues people automatically assume are better (even though it is). It's to say your international program's success is intrinsically tied to your domestic league in some form or fashion.
