I'd argue that the regulation isn't consistent with the statute in as a New Jersey administrative-law matter. Esp. because the new statute was more narrowly drawn to avoid the constitutional issues with the last one.

What is odd is that the actual law only requires disclosure only for "any food represented to be kosher or kosher for Passover." Those three items (with perhaps the exception of "kosher-style," though I would argue "no") don't even seem to be within the statute.

Exactly this. I dislike how TikTok can make ordinary interpersonal difficulties a morass of therapy speak. But these parents often say, "I have been racking my brain for what went wrong and I can't figure it out," when the call is coming from inside the house.
