Statement from our LID President @smfox.bsky.social makes it clear -- overturning election results and defying election results is wrong no matter who does it! We stand firmly against this disgraceful behavior from the party chair and too many other party leaders.

Brooklyn Deserves Better than a Party Chair who hides from voters.

Last night, Chair Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn and Brooklyn Democratic leadership stole an election result before it could event take effect.

Part 2 of statement from LID president reading:

This corrupt power grab would not survive sunlight. That's why party leaders papered over windows, barred members of the press, and slipped out the back door.

Our party rightfully calls out Trump when he tries to overturn democracy. We cannot accept that same behavior from inside our own ranks. Respecting election results isn't optional -- locally or nationally.

Reforms are heading to court, and we stand with them. The Brooklyn voters who won in June deserve to have their voices heard -- not silenced by the officials they just voted out. And every district leader who voted to stand against Brooklyn voters tonight should be on notice: you can try to paper over windows, but you can't silence Brooklyn voters.

SAAB not sexy time My post is obviously a vast simplification, but I have come to the understanding that sex is not an immutable or hard binary trait as much of western society has socially assumed, and that while I cannot change my gender (trust me, I tried so hard), I can definitely alter my sex.
