Saw sunn O))) last night. They were so loud I heard the voice of god.

I turned the game on late, and I thought they were saying Kaley McManus (though in my head it was spelled Keighleigh).

Saw a post that said “third amendment” (talking about a resolution or proposed statute or something) and was pretty disappointed it wasn’t a quartering soldiers sitch.

I grew up in the 80s/90s, so I wasn’t around for the 70s run, but those were their songs that I grew up with. I think To Love Somebody got play on the oldies station, but I don’t remember even learning it was The Bee Gees until I was much older. And I may have mostly heard cover versions

I do not recommend that book. There’s much better stuff out there. I thought this was pretty slapdash, had some glaring errors, and never got past a very surface-level discussion of abolitionism. As you mention, it is one person’s story, but i don’t think it’s actually a good primer

The problem is that isn’t correct, or shouldn’t be. A singular that ends in an “s” gets “‘s”. The book that belongs to Adams is Adams’s book, otherwise, it is indistinguishable from a book owned collectively by multiple people named Adam. (I understand that both are accepted, but I don’t like it)

Good point. I think I’ve been sloppy with “libertarian,” which can be both a political philosophy and the Libertarian Party. Even the former might not be a good description, though I think he did at least have tendencies in that direction. He certainly didn’t seem like a Rawlsian

Also, they don’t have to worry about coming up with everything that happened in-world to the characters in the intervening years (or otherwise account for the aging the actors have done since then, or just ignore it like the Deadwood movie).
