‘cause you’re right here with me jikook, rated E, 18k 🛶 post-military OT7 vacation 🛶 established relationship 🛶 OT7 conversations and shenanigans 🛶 healing ITS story but it’s also a PwP 🛶 jikook always jikooking For @sihawrites.bsky.social jikook secret santa archiveofourown.org/works/61000060

Moodboard for the fic, including lots of screencaps from In the Soop season 1, an old jikook selfie, jikook on the boat in Are You Sure?!, and OT7 photo when they gathered for Jin’s discharge.

Title: ‘cause you’re right here with me
By littlespicypepper

Summary:

Maknae Jungkookie: I call the boathouse again
Hoseokie-hyung: Sure 🫶
Jin-hyung: Please do! And keep all your *activities* there this time
Suga-hyung: I still remember that look of utter horror on Namjoon’s face
Hoseokie-hyung: ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I still have that photo on my phone
Kim Taehyung: It was nothing hyung and I haven’t seen a thousand times already. Pretty tame tbh

or, In the summer of 2025 after finishing their enlistment, Bangtan takes some time off to recharge and reconnect as a team. It’s a complete vacation at the In the Soop house, a place of fond memories: no staff, no cameras, no schedules, no expectations. And this time, Jimin and Jungkook get to stay together at the boathouse, free to be as boyfriend as they want.

Fandom: Bangtan Boys
Relationship: Jeon Jungkook/Park Jimin

“That's what makes our work as a team so natural and effortless. And if you enjoy and appreciate each other’s company, it doesn’t matter if the clothes are a little tight at times because your hearts would still be in the right place.” BTS IS FOREVER. 💜

= weverse magazine
That must be another side of the responsibility you feel as a member of BTS.
j-hope: The thing is, BTS started with hip hop at its foundation and progressively became more pop-oriented. Throughout that process, we tried so many different songs-some fit me like a glove, while others felt a little off but I could still suck in my stomach to make them work. (laughs) Then we all went off doing our own thing, each with our own style. After pursuing our own little ventures, we are now coming back together, and I love that for us. At this point, I think we're together because we genuinely enjoy each other's company and get along. That's what makes our work as a team so natural and effortless. And if you enjoy and appreciate each other's company, it doesn't matter if the clothes are a little tight at times because your hearts would still be in the right place. With that in mind, I believe the next step for BTS is to think about how we can shine as a team without diminishing our
individual colors and identities.

I said this over on the bird site, but a fic published a few years ago isn't "old." Fic writers aren't content machines, and you don't owe anyone a constant output of new works to remain relevant. Your stories don't become unreadable after a certain date. Fics don't expire.

🎄hallmark, baby. ✧ E | 50k, oneshot ✧ mutual pining | idiots in love | christmas gifts and secret admirers ✧ for carekookmin on ao3 ✧ part 1 of holidays, baby. ao3.org/series/3293115 ✧ ao3.org/works/43501605

jikook moodboard with christmas vibes.

from top L to bottom R:
up close black & white image of a pair of lips / chocolates in a tin with red, green, and white sprinkles / pretty jimin with black hair in a low-cut shirt / mistletoe with a red bow / jikook from that one dynamite christmas video / an office space with garland hanging from the ceiling and reaching between cubicles / jungkook from the same dynamite video, with fluffy hair and a big grin / candy canes, the hooks of which form the shape of a heart / black & white image of someone's wrists being pinned down by another, larger hand

Additional Tags:
side taegihope, side namjin, Idiots in Love, Strangers to Lovers, sort of? , they work at the same company, Mutual Pining, Misunderstandings, Light Angst, Christmas Fluff, Love Confessions, Shy Jeon Jungkook, Park Jimin is a Menace (BTS), Kim Taehyung | V is So Done, Jeon Jungkook is a Ray of Sunshine, Kim Taehyung | V & Park Jimin are Best Friends, jimin has a peanut allergy, minor depiction of an allergy attack, it kind of gets the ball rolling so, seokjin's inappropriate christmas puns, taehyung's nut jokes, jimin and jungkook were THOSE emo kids, jimin's life turns into a hallmark movie despite his complaints, but he kind of loves it, Explicit Sexual Content, Rimming, Anal Sex, Service Top Jeon Jungkook, Power Bottom Park Jimin (BTS), Light Choking, it's barely there but, hand to throat, jimin just wants those hands on his throat okay it's really that simple, Face-Sitting

summary of my fic, hallmark, baby. it reads:

“Jiminie,” Taehyung says with a somber shake of his head. “My job isn’t to keep you alive. That’s literally your only job as a sentient creature. Mine is to make sure the only nuts going in your mouth are ones that won’t send you to the hospital.”

“Oh my god.”

“Anyway,” Taehyung continues as he trails after Jimin towards his desk, ignoring his groan of distress, “like a moron, you gave yourself an allergy attack, and of all people in this fucking office, the hot guy who looks like his little rabbit heart’s gonna explode every time he breathes the same air as you—”

“That’s not a thing—”

“—is the one who had to help your stupid ass administer the thing that keeps the nuts from killing you.”

or: Jungkook is in the right place at the right time, Jimin has a secret admirer, and Christmas has them both wrapped up in a game that nobody seems to be winning.
