This week on AFP @slippinmickeys.bsky.social , @cerulean-blue.bsky.social and I discuss how fanfic in our fandom may change with the Coogler Reboot! Let us know how you feel about it! And what new tags do you think we’ll get? How will we distinguish the new show from the original run?

For those who were waiting for it to be completed… Familiar is now done. More than twice as long as anything I’ve written before, it was a labor of love. And I hope you love this world as much as I do: archiveofourown.org/works/652103...

When my new coworkers asked how my weekend was, I told them I went on a quick trip to Paris. I’m cultivating mystery. But I don’t think any of them are chronically online.

BREAKING: Our client Mario Guevara, an Emmy-winning journalist detained by ICE in retaliation for livestreaming law enforcement activity, will be deported tomorrow to El Salvador. Mario and his family are being punished for his reporting. This cruelty is meant to stifle our free press.

I tried watching All The Presidents Men tonight and turned it off ten minutes in because it was so unrealistic that anyone got caught doing anything remotely illegal, much less paid a political price for it.

CBS parent company Paramount canceled Colbert to win approval from Trump's FCC to merge with Skydance. Now ABC parent company Disney suspends Kimmel as it seeks DOJ approval to buy Fubo — and its affiliate Nexstar seeks FCC approval to buy Tegna. See how this works?

Whole thread. We’re in an up-in-the-air moment now: one hand, Trump threatening civil war; other, ICE being turned back by civil disobedience. Moral: fascists don’t know yet how far they’re willing to go. My belief: more moments like this now will prevent the war that’s been threatened.

Sad is the day when you get a glowing comment on a fic from a new reader and your first thought is: “wonder when they’ll try to scam me for art”
