All mizutsune needed to do was open their maw and wait for a bubbleblight'ed Nargacuga to slide inside, and they did so with such speed that their momentum carried them into the leviathan's tail shortly before springing back into the stomach where they belonged. #voretober #voretober2026

Just thought of a concept. A dragon whose hoard isn't treasures but a whole load of kobolds, particularly kobolds who were formerly adventures who came to slay the dragon and were transformed, the adventures realising they like being in the dragon's care.

I kinda want to get the steam frame but I'll probably have to save for around six months to afford it. Always loved vr, just hadn't been able to use my current head set much due to not much space in my bedroom.

Might be the mods I'm using but dwarf fortress keeps freezing on me. Will have to try a vanilla world to see if it is or not.

I'l say for me the only good parts of the direct was metroid and kirby. Also probably xonoblade 3 switch 2 version.

Honestly, I want to be excited for the yo-kai watch 2 remake they teased in the direct but I don't trust level 5 games to not use generative ai in it.

I think the battle system in 3 is the best of the three games though which kinda makes it hurt more that there isn't much to do past the story.

Slippery Mizutsune🔞 @slipperymizutsune.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

While I do enjoy monster hunter stories 3, I think its lack of a proper post game is a massive flaw. The first two games had a reason to keep playing past the final boss. I think stories 3 is a good game but the worst of the three in terms of content.

I wonder if splatoon raiders will get a dlc expansion. Currently working through post game stuff but honestly, I'd like to see more variations for the seasoned salmonids if there ever is one.

CW: Vent post . . . . . . . . It's really hard to remain optimistic about the future tbh. I'm trying to stay hopeful that things will get better but it feels like I'm just lying to myself. It all feels hopeless and that we'll all remain powerless to stop these horrible things from happening.

I cannot emphasize the degree to which a data center next to a zoo is a massive endless Endangered Species Act violation. If this happens it /will/ be the end of the facility. Air quality issues kill birds. Constant loud noise destroys animal welfare. Both decimate visitorship. The zoo will close.

Hey Alberta - there's a federal petition out right now to bar construction of energy-hungry AI data centres. It aims to mandate and prioritize national environmental protections, public hearings, and First Nations consent. Anyone from Canada can sign: www.ourcommons.ca/petitions/en...

image is a screenshot from the official Canadian House of Commons website (ourcommons.ca) featuring an excerpt from petition e-7427 put forward by Member of Parliament Heather McPherson. The petition is open starting May 20, 2026, and closes September 17, 2026. The excerpt reads: "We, the undersigned, People of Canada, call upon the House of Commons in Parliament assembled to immediately impose a federal moratorium on the approval, construction, expansion, or operation of proposed hyperscale AI data centres in Alberta, including the proposed Wonder Valley AI Data Centre Industrial Park and the proposed Synapse Data Centers Olds Project. 1. Prohibit federal permits, funding, tax incentives, loan guarantees, infrastructure support, or federal land and water access for AI data centres powered primarily by fossil fuels or requiring large-scale freshwater withdrawals; 2. Establish binding national environmental protections that permanently prohibit hyperscale AI data centres that would significantly increase greenhouse gas emissions, strain provincial electrical grids, consume unsustainable amounts of freshwater, or negatively impact surrounding communities, farmland, ecosystems, or Indigenous territories; and 3. Require mandatory federal environmental assessments, transparent public hearings, and free, prior, and informed consent from affected Indigenous nations and municipalities before any future AI data centre proposal may be considered in Alberta and in Canada." #abpoli #canpoli #cdnpoli
