I’ve said on here before, being a parent of a high school senior is not for the faint of heart. Between yesterday and today, we braved the Texas heat to paint her senior parking spot. Most of my contributions were logistics and keeping the 10 year old entertained I think they achieved her vision.

When my now 10 year old was in Kindergarten she demanded to listen to Jolene and 9 to 5 every morning on the way to the car line. That year for Halloween she wore a sparkly dress and cowgirl hat and boots, big curls in her hair and makeup. Rest in Peace, Dolly, a real angel that walked this Earth.
