I’ve said on here before, being a parent of a high school senior is not for the faint of heart. Between yesterday and today, we braved the Texas heat to paint her senior parking spot. Most of my contributions were logistics and keeping the 10 year old entertained I think they achieved her vision.

Biggest we did was a distance limit for solo driving on highway/interstate for first few months (we live in a major city). Our state already limits passenger numbers until they turn 18, but that would have been considered as well. Good luck, it’s exciting and nerve racking at the same time!

We will probably add an EV back in down the road, but after we settle in a location and can install a charger in our house.

I had an EV before that I traded for this. Admittedly it was an unnamed brand that I bought before someone went off the rails…

Yeah we test drove the Forester as well, the fully integrated touch screen in it plus the Outback Wilderness having the turbo and new electronic suspension control were both difference makers for me.
