yeah, same here. it has been... a lot. my aunt was hit by a car and is pretty badly injured, so i'm taking the first flights home tomorrow. this comes after my littlest brother broke his arm falling off a slide on the playground. no idea what is happening anymore but my anxiety is at an 11 lol

the solution to Golden Gate’s “running in background” thing, if it’s something you hate like i do, might be to run this command: defaults write com.apple.dock static-only 1 after i decided to mess around and run that for fun, i haven’t seen any running in background apps... (1/2)

devs: note that you can’t upload apps with Xcode 27.1 to App Store Connect, which is unsurprising of course. but worth noting because you’ll have to use Xcode 27 or 27.2. God, this is confusing as fuck.

as of November, i'll have been on a Mac for ten years. a whole decade. in that time, the bug where the cursor glitches out and doesn't change to the Mickey Mouse hand when there's a link every once in a blue moon until i restart my Mac still hasn't been fixed. Apple quality software! :D
