FUN FACT for you Ace Combat fans out there like me that ordered the Joker edition of AC8: despite advertising that it has the game inside, it DOESN'T! Seems that it ships separately, so I get to wait LONGER even though I got everything else. Thanks, Bandai Namco! What a perfect birthday present!

Yeah, the combat feels like it wanted to be more than it is. Enemy variety for me feels... just okay? And the combat flow, man, enemies really do gang up on you in comparison to their Spider-Man games. 25 wave combat gauntlets too seem to me like there was supposed to be extra stuff happening.

Everything really started tumbling downhill when Ryan decided to leave in 2023. I bet he saw what was coming and bailed. My speculation but the promotions of Totoki, Nishino, Tao, and Hulst may have led to some BTS territorial/power dynamics. Profitability is trumping all other investment factors.

Hmm, okay. Unfortunately could be a number of things. GPU drivers, power supply underpowering the GPU and thus not sending a consistently stable signal (dirty power or power supply going bad?), maybe a dying GPU displayport. And none of the other ports on your GPU are outputting anything?

I like to think it is a gauge by which to go to publishers and funders and suggest that there's market interest. Even if they don't hit that (ridiculous) number, it's still a data point they can use in pitch meetings.

I mostly try to avoid it. There are some people I follow that talk politics that I try to ignore but, if they get excessive, I stop following. My mental health sometimes can't take dozens of tweets and retweets a day talking about XYZ thing no matter how outrageous or minuscule it is.

Steam, along with other digital platforms, all share this problem with the exception of GOG. My point is that Sony's not giving us the choice with the next gen so true chances of owning games made by Playstation are going to end. And that fucking sucks. At least with Steam the TOS are better.
