What are your favorite video only feeds on Bluesky?

both photos and android are under consideration. for photos, i'm thinking about the best way to incorporate an instagram style interface. for android, there are no plans currently, but definitely thinking about it if theres enough interest

The big difference with Bluesky is that their store is public. Anyone can make an app and see your publicly available Bluesky data. So if you link your Bluesky profile to Skyswipe, all of your followers (among other data) will automatically transfer over! There is no need to rebuild a following.

Hi, Skyswipe is a video-first TikTok style client built on top of AtProto focusing on UX. You sign in with your Bluesky account using oauth2. Everything carries over - posts, likes, reposts, follows, followers. We do not store data. Currently in iOS beta testing :)

Custom feed support coming soon. In the meantime, you can switch to the "following" feed so that you only see videos from accounts you're following.

Not low-hanging fruit, but videoplayer polish, reducing latency, refactoring, and adding customization options will be the next ticket. Part of the core experience, which is high priority

I think custom feeds is highest prio rn. Only roadblock is that typical feeds might not have alot of videos or any at all, depending on RNG. So this messes things up If that ever occurs please let me know, I’ll also investigate a bit. Was it only in profiles from search?

Section titled ‘Developer Preview Phase’ with an update note referencing a September 25th blog post. It explains that early-adopter developers can start using OAuth instead of App Passwords. Advanced features like granular scopes and 2FA methods may not yet be available, and client SDKs may still be under development. The phase is expected to begin in late summer 2024. A bullet point notes that draft specifications and documentation for all OAuth variants will be available, though subject to change.

From what I’ve gathered, app passwords aren’t supposed to work with OAuth. Acc. to bsky team, OAuth is actually an alternative to app passwords, and expected to replace App pw entirely. Graysky doesnt use OAuth, handles your credentials directly so using the legacy app password flow makes sense
