A reminder to fellow yarnists about ethical yarn bombing. 🧶 Do not take part in yarn bombing events unless they have a clear plan for disposition; ideally reworked for charity eg. blankets, scarves Do not yarn bomb living things eg. trees, it disrupts their ecosystem and access to light and air.

Gosh doing retrieval practice and dancing around English with a non written language is a dance and a half, however, my students will appreciate it. There are a few links like "improve" to support literacy as lets face it pictures can kickstart us but notes are also important in signing practice

The linguistics of representing a non-written language has some unique challenges. These frames are not for teaching but prompting retrieval. and the present is the lynch pin to the whole thing. Using theory of schemata to bind the knowledge learned. #linguistics #Auslan
