My therapist is trying really hard to get me writing again, and we had a really good session today where we talked about all of my ideas and what my fears are in writing them. I think I'm getting close to not having a panic attack every time I open a word document, and I couldn't be more excited. 😮‍💨

It's a rule in our house that I have to wear grippy socks. It's been this way since I slipped down the stairs in June. The ONE NIGHT I don't wear them, I slip and fall on my wrist and currently can't feel two of my fingers. It was worth it to save my Snubbull Funko from our dog, but ouch. 🙃

It’s really pretty cool that one thing you can do to support people you like is ask your local library to get their book because it doesn’t cost you anything, it helps them, and the librarian gets to know someone actually wants to read a book and not just use the computer for Roblox

The one way to fuck over your career as an author real quick is to think that other authors in your genre are your competition and not your COMMUNITY. In business, we are all in these trenches together. And a great way to isolate yourself is by treating other authors like competitors.
