Jey Pawlik 🏳️‍⚧️ @ Nuit Blanche 12 Hours Comics Event! @jpawlik.com · 23/09/2026

I was commissioned by @filthyfigments.bsky.social to draw up a BRAND NEW RSS COMIC! With all the Tapas news, I thought this would be the perfect time to post the full comic. This is an up-to-date comic with what I'm using, how I'm using it, and how you can too! #Comic #RSS #Webcomic #Art

Digitally drawn comic with black choppy lines and a purple tone over the colours. The comic is set in space with Jey, a white nonbinary person with short black hair and a chubby build; Ember, a chubby blond white woman with goggles on her head and two heart shaped pigtails; Pomona, a thin black woman with dark purple hair wrapped up in a heart-shaped bun and then in a braid from that. The three of them are sitting in a space ship, all looking at their hologram tablets. Jey says "Hell yeah, that new comic on Filthy Figments" just updated!" Ember looks surprised and asks "WHAA?! How'd you know that? I didn't see it yet!" Pomona responds "Yeah, what's up? I don't see any posts about it on socials." Jey points to their hologram tablet and says "Oh I got the notification on my RSS reader as soon as the page went up!" Ember looks confused and asks "R-what-what?" and Pomona says "Sounds sexy, do tell~" Jey explains "RSS, or Really Simple Syndication", is an update feed for a website. Every time the site publishes a blog post, comic page, or anything else, that feed is updated. Pomona and Ember then ask "Okay cool, but how do we access that feed? I'm no hacker or anything!" Jey points up to the URL of the feed and says "It's really simple~ heh" All you need is: the feed url from the site, usually a button or a link (ie. filthyfigments.com/comic/feed) and a feed reader! Pomona asks "Do you have any sexy ready recs, Jey? ❤️" Jey responds excitedly with "Oh, I sure do! I've tried a whole bunch out, and every reader is a little different so try out a few to see what fits you best." Here's a few I've tried: Feedbro Feedbin (paid, but worth it) Feedly (was good but got into AI) Thunderbird Ukagaka Ghosts (the most fun) Jey presents these to Ember and Pomona and says "I like Feedbro the best for my needs~"

Copy the link and add it to your reader of choice: The image shows a mouse copying the url filthyfigments.com/comic/feed and pasting it into the feed reader, which then turns in to a feed of posts and images for the user. The feed shows blog posts, subscription posts, and image posts by people on their own websites, blogs and a tumblr. Jey shows the finished feed off and says "And VOILA! You've got a feed of JUST the sites you add." Pomona grins and says "Ohh, it looks just like a social media feed~" Ember excitedly clasps her hands together and asks "But-- without algorithms?!" Jey replies with a cheeky little grin "You got it! Your feed reader wont' ever give you posts from sites you don't follow, it'll always be in chronological order and WITHOUT ADS!" Ember throws her arms up in complete shock saying "NO ADS?! Are you serious? SIGN ME UP!" The three are sitting together on the space ship again with their hologram tablets. Ember excitedly says "Hey, I got the update ❤️" Pomona sits back satisfied saying "Ahh RSS is bliss~" A comic by Jey Pawlik jpawlik.com for filthyfigments.com using the site's mascots Ember and Pomona.

The important thing to remember about teenagers is that they're idiots and we don't need to treat their opinions as well-formed or important, but instead given a lot of grace because their brains are raw in the middle.

Mm, I think this bisky is about to have a lot more Digimon monster-boys on it soon. I’m leaning into my joy! Here are the Tamer boys all grown up. And hey, do you think there are long-term side-effects to Biomerging? I sure hope so. ❤️

Aged-up Takato and Henry/Jian from Digimon Tamers having sex. Takato has Guilmon stripes, scale patches, and a long fang. Henry has Terriermon stripes on his arms and white and green fur patterning his back. Takato is bottoming and seems to be enjoying himself.

I posted this to tumblr years ago and forgot to put it here! Fanfic fanart for “Path to Becoming A Hero”, a really fun as-yet unfinished fic about Takato crossing over into the BNHA universe. The fic’s got a lot of heart and I get a kick from each reread! archiveofourown.org/series/3630151

An attempt at an anime movie poster for the fic, featuring Takato and his various evolutions being overshadowed by Daemon and the BNHA UA school towers. Made in 2023

Doodles of Takato Matsuki with Guilmon’s markings on his skin, looking confused about the whole situation. Made in 2026.

Doodles of Takato Matsuki with Guilmon markings again, but this time looking less shellshocked and more confident…. Sorta. Made in 2026.

2022: Doesn’t look like I posted these over, so here is Wake! An adopt design I bought from @allenpaw.bsky.social that I modified and have decided is one of Cans’s regular partners/boyfriends! (“Wake” as in, the trail of splashing water behind a boat!)

Drawn by me: Wake surfing through a wave’s tube. I used a reference of a surfer to get the pose just right, it looks great!

Drawn by Allen: the original adopt design.

Drawn by me: tweaking the design to suit my needs! (I’m allergic to bald skeletons, you see.)
