St George is growing like the wildfires we had in Utah this year. It was such a sleepy place... It's still Utah, but not like it once was. Jackal energy might find it a challenge much like Florida. Maybe even way worse in places. But damn is it incredibly beautiful. With brutal heat, 10% humidity.

Been a tough road. Some of the most difficult, challenging times in my life. About 3 years ago, got a call. A friend needed help. I was in a position where I could. There have been close calls. Some way too close. Lots of tears, fear, bunch of laughs, and a lot to deal with. But I'd do it again!

Not going to miss this apartment. It served a need. But change is now! Time for the next step in @bestfriendriot.bsky.social path. Not gonna be easy, but it's a necessary step for their growth, education, and hopefully a fulfilling life as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine! How fucking cool is that!

1 week. Last load out day is the 11th. That gives one day for oops, cleaning and key return. Still need to clean the move in location. Don't mind doing that, as my rent will be reduced by half. Also grateful I can do house improvements in place of just paying rent. It's good I'm a handy skunk!

Today was a day. Went to work, despite not feeling it. Keeping busy helps. Only had to walk out of the shop a couple times. Checked in with most of the old work crew. Everyone's feeling as expected. There's no good reason for this. But we go on anyway. Because that's what we do.
