My crazy theory for the new tank in 8.0, given the Rhitahtyn shirt it likely uses a large shield, and being a main tank has parry mechanics. FFXVI had the combat designer for dmc, who was also the combat designer for dragons dogma. dragons dogma mystic knight was a parry focused shield class.

Somehow was able to atomize death in vampire survivors despite having none of the items for it, I was so confused why nothing was spawning. Though I guess it makes sense when the run looks like this.
