Not to say that wilds didn’t have its issues at launch, but they have done such a good job of responding to feedback and crafting an amazing post game. i will also say wilds has my favorite versions of almost all the weapons, full release slash my beloved.

So instead of a lot of buffs every two minutes, you will likely only have one that your party will have to coordinate bursts around the bosses mechanics rather than a 2 minute timer

An important thing that i don’t see a lot of people talk about in regards to this is that party wide damage buffs will still exist, bard still has radiant finale for example, its just that most are getting removed and the ones that aren’t won’t be tied to a tight timer.

My crazy theory for the new tank in 8.0, given the Rhitahtyn shirt it likely uses a large shield, and being a main tank has parry mechanics. FFXVI had the combat designer for dmc, who was also the combat designer for dragons dogma. dragons dogma mystic knight was a parry focused shield class.
