Anyone with even a passing interest in indie animation has GOT to check out Monkey Wrench! Not only is it lavishly animated with an absolute banger of a soundtrack, it’s got super fascinating worldbuilding and a really strong emotional core at its center. Plus it’s funny as hell. CHECK! IT! OUT!
![-Note for [Manager]
As the manager, it is your responsibility to be aware of the needs of your employees.
Scheduling someone to work 9 days in a row is unacceptable, even if they asked for it, or agreed to it, it is your responsibility to not over-stress others.
Scheduling someone to work over the anniversary of the loss of a close friend, immediately after being released from jail, and after losing their kid and breaking up with their significant other is unacceptable.
[Co-worker] needs time to process the events of the last month. Please be kind and gentle on him while he grieves. I would do the same for anyone, and as the manager, I expect the same from you. (that last part was written in slightly larger text)
And if you find that you are unable to properly fill the shift schedule, then perhaps you shouldn't have fired [Previous Shift Lead].
Don't call me tomorrow, I won't come in.
